After a brief, yet awkward pause the pack slowly begins to clap for Elle. She does not seem upset about the lack of enthusiasm and just inclines her head slightly to everybody. The clapping tapers off rather quickly and everybody looks towards Dante as if they are expecting more news.
"Well, our Luna is finally back so let's celebrate her return. Please, take the time to get to know Elle before you judge her. Remember that your own Luna is half witch so just because Elle is a witch does not mean that she is going to be like some of the others that you have met. Keep an open mind and let's celebrate the small victories." He says as if we had already earned our peace from the other witches.

When the movie reaches about the halfway point, I see Scarlett slowly dozing off on the couch. I take her plate away and cover her up with a small blanket. After Scarlett and Quin leave I find that I am no longer in the mood to celebrate as much as I was before then. Instead, I leave to find Elle. I can only assume that she went back to her house since nobody was exactly welcoming to her here.When I go to head towards her house the earth begins to pull me in a different direction. It is willing me to go into the woods instead. The earth has never led me wrong before so I am assuming that I should follow where it points me.Walking through the woods, I feel at peace with my surroundings. I have not walked through the woods at night and alone in months. I forgot how peaceful and quiet it is. Something or someone has walked through recently though judging by how quiet even the nocturnal animals are.Connecting to the earth, I continue to follow its lead until I find myself standing outside of my old den. As I walk back to the party I see everybody still having a good time. While talking with Elle has made me feel slightly better about my past and I understand her much better, I am still not sure that me being here is the best option for the pack. Even my own cousin might be leaving the pack to keep her pup safe. If she can leave then what is going to happen with the rest of the pack? Are they all going to start leaving as well?Taking a deep breath, I walk over to Dante again. Out of the corner of my eye, I can see Elle heading off towards her house now. Obviously a massage is not all that Dante had in mind when I handed him that oil. He apparently thought that after he massaged me he would be able to have his way with me. Well, sadly for him, I fell asleep during the massage. Completely passed out. Poor guy must have been bummed when he realized that I was sleeping so soundly.The next morning I awake extremely relaxed thanks to the absolutely angelic hands of my mate. As I walk to Elle's new house I notice that while people are still smiling at me and welcoming me back they are also giving me a funny look after I pass them. What is this all about? The talk with Kiba goes easier than expected when I finally get myself to make the awful call. Even though I know that it is still up to Scarlett and that it will be much safer for her and the pup, I do not want my cousin to have to go and stay that far away. For dinner Dante decides to make a taco bar with a few different proteins. There are steak, chicken and ground beef tacos for us all to choose from along with a variety of toppings. Somehow, he managed to get all of this ready in just over an hour for Scarlett and Quin to come over for dinner.Quin still has not said anything to Scarlett about moving to another pack so we are going to have to broach the topic very carefully. For some reason, I had expected more of an argument out of Scarlett so the fact that she does not argue much has me a little taken aback. Maybe now that she is thinking of a little one she realizes that she has to put her safety first for a while. Whatever the reason, I am a little relieved that she saw the sense in moving.The rest of dinner passed in a melancholy silence with the knowledge that some of our pack members were going to be leaving for the forseeable future. No matter how well thought out the reasoning is, the thought of them leaving has me on the verge of tears for the rest of dinner and looking at Scarlett I can tell that she is as well."I am really going to miss you guys.
