"What do you think you're doing?" I asked Natalie. My eyes were fixed on the Leo as he cried, struggling to come my way but her Bodyguards were holding him down .

She stepped forward, “You might no longer be under the command of the pack house, and that's why you think you can disobey everyone," she said, crossing her arms across my chest. "But things have changed, and I'm the queen of this pack, and whatever I say goes. The rules that I give, so I'm not going to let go of your child if you don't leave the palace this instant."

I folded my arms across my chest, smiling widely at her, even though I was deeply in pain. "You're very bold, even after all you've been through."

"That was just because you caught me at such a vulnerable time. I'm not going to let you get away with it."

I attempted to take a step forward, but her guards immediately shielded me from her, about four of them standing in front of me and her like some sort of barricade.
