70: For the love of Clyde

My legs were aching as I went to the room that I shared with the kids and Clyde.

It was really late by now, and there was no way I could hide it. I tried to walk regularly, but I could still feel him inside of me and the impact he had left.

My gown was tattered from how roughly it had been handled, and it was taking me a grace to head back to my room.

By the time I opened the door, I expected that everyone would be asleep at first.

I saw the children laying in bed, snoring, and that brought a smile to my face.

My smile faded immediately as soon as I saw Clyde sitting by the door.

"So what took you so long?" He stood up from his seat, crossing his arms across his chest.

"Clyde, what are you doing?"

"What is wrong with you? Yeah, because this is exactly what I was trying to avoid. Where were you?"

"I was at the King's room and so what?”

“Yeah, doing your servant duties, right?"

"Yes, I was," I said.

“So did he beat you up?"

"Why would you think that?"

"Maybe because you look so tattere
