Chapter 56: History

Aurora looked around, stared at her husband then looked down at the cause of her pain.

She scrambled up, Sebastian following.

"What are you…" he queried, watching her every move.

Aurora sneezed, pushing hair off her face.

"We have to get out of here and save our city, our empire," she spoke, her words stumbling on each other. She shook her head and concentrated her mind on the cage surrounding them while they watched but hard as she tried, the cage wouldn't obey her.

"It isn't listening to me," she spoke, opening her eyes and looking back at them.

Sebastian stepped forward.

"How's that possible?" He asked.

"Some things are not meant to be."

The sweet musical voice had Aurora gasping in surprise. Her eyes darted around but she was no where to be found, the moon goddess.

"That's not the unknown," Julian whispered, pulling Livia close.
