Chapter 59: Tale of the immortals

Twenty minutes later, she found herself peeping at him through the bookshelf. He was reading the comic book. She longed to sit next to him again and put her head on his shoulder.

"What is stopping me then?" She mumbled and got up.

Sebastian looked up, feeling someone hover over him.

Aurora.

"Are you mad at me?" She asked quietly, looking so innocent and hurt, he felt guilty for a split second.

"No," he answered, "I don't get mad at strangers."

She looked even more hurt.

"Okay then," she suddenly smiled, a fake one and sat next to him, "we are going to change that."

"I want to read alone," he insisted.

"I want to read with you," she said blankly.

He made to get up but she held his jacket. He sighed.

"What do you want?" He asked her with a stern gaze.

"To be your friend," she answered simply.

"I do not want to be your friend," he retorted.

"You are lying," she rolled her eyes. She shifted closer and laid her head against his shoulder like the last time with her arm as a head rest.
