Chapter 63: Can I help you?
When Aurora awoke, she found herself hidden behind a shrub.
"Really?" She scoffed, getting up and dusting her clothes. Her house was only a few blocks away. She picked up her bag and hurried away, looking behind her shoulder every few seconds.
Getting into the house, her mother's unfriendly face greeted her.
"You are banned from going to that museum," Cecilia said firmly.
"Mum, I can explain," she said quickly.
Cecilia turned away, "I do not want to hear it. Go to your room."
"I was kidnapped."
Cecilia whirled around, "what?"
Her father, Patrick, came in from the kitchen alongside two relatives.
"What did you say?" He demanded.
"This big guy, he kidnapped me and said something about my family staying away from him. Are you guys into bad stuff?" She questioned, folding her arms.
Cecilia dragged her to the living room and sat her down on a sofa.
