Chapter 66: Abused

Aurora drove randomly, tapping her fingers against the steering and enjoying the night view.

Peace… she felt peaceful.

Chaos… she would meet chaos when she returned home but it might be worth it after all.

Still driving, she wandered into quiet roads that probably led to private residences and forests. She reversed, deciding to stick to the busy parts of the town. She was just about to complete her reverse when a car appeared out of nowhere and aimed for her.

She screamed, turning the wheels furiously. She narrowly missed the car hitting her. She stopped at the side of the road, panting for breath. Her eyes were wide and her heart was racing at an unbelievable speed. The other car, black from what she could see with her car's headlamps, had stopped at the other side some metres ahead but the occupant made no move to step down.

She had a bad feeling so she started the car and drove off but passing by the car, a strong urge made her stop.
