Chapter 11

“Get out Desi. I will not nor will I ever help you after everything. Yes it’s in the past but it is where it will stay.” I said pointing to the door no listening to a word she said. She grabs a Kleenex out of the box on the counter and dabs at her eyes.

She sniffles and digs in her bag again. “If you change your mind here is my card and contact information. Just call my cell and I will pick up. I am sorry for all that I have done and wish I could change it but it’s done.”

Not saying a word, I watched as she walked out my studio door. I lock the door behind her and pull out my cell calling Sophia.

“I’ll be over in just a little bit to get Walker. I just need to straighten up first.” I said as soon as she answered.

“Take all the time you need love.”

“Thanks Soph. I really appreciate you.” I tell her before hanging up.
