Chapter 10
My last call though I was dreading as soon as I seen the name. Peter and Lacy Milstead. The Alpha and Luna of a nearby pack. Even though I was technically a rogue they didn’t treat me as such but they still treated me like I was way beneath them.
I didn’t tell them my story when they first came across me but I told them I did run from a bad situation and pose no threat to those humans around me.
The phone rang twice before it was picked up by a sickly-sweet voice.
“Hello.” Said the voice on the other end.
“Hello, Mrs. Milstead this is Everleigh calling regarding your scheduled photo shoot.”
“Hello dear. What seems to be the problem?” She asked worriedly.
“There has been a slight change in schedule planning and I have a family issue I need to resolve so I will be taking off the next two weeks starting this next Monday.”
“Oh no dear. I hope all is okay.”

Walker I’ve had a great day today. At school we learned about circles and the color blue. We learned how to write the letter L and the number 12. It was exciting. I love learning new things. Dream“Mom!” I giggle as mom chases after me. She is chasing me around this big yard trying to tickle me. She keeps telling me the tickle monster is going to get me. I’m trying hard to not get caught by her. I run as fast as my legs will carry me. I squeal as someone grabs me and tosses me in to the air. Grey I’m running patrols like normal. The day is beautiful and the trees blocking the sun rays helps keep me cool as I run the perimeter.
