Third Person's POV Aero ignored the smirk on her face as he walked around the bed and climbed in. The elder sat back against the headboard and let out a long loud sigh. “Oh my God, is it that bad? What did you do?” She laughed, and he pinched the bridge of his nose. “I don't get this fucking bond! I hate that I want him so much! But more than that, I hate that he doesn't want me. He's only with me because of his son,” Aero said, his heart feeling like someone had reached inside his chest and ripped it out.“This is stupid!... Why does this bond even exist?! This whole bond thing is stupid! Can I get rid of it?” Aero asked as he turned to his childhood friend. She giggled as she turned toward him. She reaches forward and tucks his long blonde hair behind his ear before cupping his cheek. “Oh man, you have it bad!” Vanessa teased, and he slapped her hand away.“Damn it, Vanessa! I'm being serious! Are you going to help me, or not? How can I get rid of this damn thing?” He asked angr
Third Person's POV Lexon knocks on the door, and a moment later, Blake opens it. “My man with the long blonde hair, come on in!” Blake joked and flashed a smile as he stepped back.“How is it going? Everything going smooth at the coven?” Blake asked as he turned the stove down. “Yes… is Azrael here?” Lexon asked, even though he could sense him. “Yeah, he's in Aziel’s room putting his clothes away.”“Thanks,” Lexon said as he walked past the kitchen and down the hall.Lexon entered Aziel's room but didn't see Azrael. As his eyes scanned the room, he saw the closet door was open. The Elder crossed the room and found Azrael in the closet, putting his son's clothes away.“Hey, Lexon,” Azrael said as he placed a shirt on a hanger. “It's been a while, how have you been?” Lexon asked as he folded his arms and leaned against the door frame. “Everything's the same as last time I saw you,” Azrael said as he placed another shirt on a hanger.“Yeah, well, that was four months ago. It's been
Third Person's POV Naham squeezed his pillow and buried his face in it as he slowly woke. Naham thought he was still dreaming since he wasn't waking up in pain, and everything was soft and comfortable. Not to mention, the incredible scent that surrounded him in his dream was still there. The scent should scare him since it belonged to someone claiming they were mates, and that person just so happens to be a vampire. But now that he realizes it's just a dream and dreams can't hurt him, Naham gives in to the dream and lets himself go. The Omega was in heaven as he nuzzled the soft, fluffy pillow that smelled like heaven. Everything around him was so soft, plush, and clean. Everything real life wasn't, but a dream was. The Omega was in his own little world of bliss, nuzzling the pillow that smelled so strong of that amazing scent. He tried to drown himself in that scent, taking one deep breath after another, and filling his senses. It wasn't until fingers touched the side of his face t
Easy Third Person's POV Ezra tries to stretch as he wakes up, but his feet come into contact with something, preventing him from stretching his legs. The king felt stiff. Before he opened his eyes, he remembered what he was lying on and why… The couch in his bedroom that he's sat on maybe three times. The damn thing was too hard to sit on. He only bought it because it looked good. Now that he has to use it, he regrets the day he ever bought it and wishes he would have bought something more comfortable instead of stylish.Ezra takes a deep breath and notices a weight on his chest. It feels tight and heavy, and for a moment, he is concerned.Ezra opened his eyes and couldn't see. Something dark and fuzzy clouded his vision and tickled his face when he moved. Ezra pulled his head back, and chocolate curls came into view. Ezra’s heart beats faster. He reached up and gently pulled those beautiful curls away from his mate's forehead, revealing his beautiful face. A wide smile formed on Ez
Third Person's POV After breakfast, everyone moved to the living room. Aero sat on the left side of the couch, and Naham sat next to him, keeping a distance between them. Ezra sat on the right side, expecting his mate to sit close to his Dad, but instead, he climbed onto the couch and pressed himself as close to Ezra as he could. Ezra lifted his arm and wrapped it around the Omega as he smiled down at him. Naham was shocked his son was practically in the Vampire's lap. He thought Roman would sit closer to him. He was prepared to wrap his arm around his son, but instead, he's so close to the stupid vampire that he's practically in his lap! Naham looked at his hands resting in his lap while tugging nervously at his fingers. Everything about this was uncomfortable. Sure, this is his half-brother, but that's what makes it even more uncomfortable. “I can't believe I have family. My cousin Lana was the only person from my family that made it through the attack. Now I have you two as well…
There seems to be a lot of confusion with Atticus's parents. A lot of people think Niles was his dad, and he was not. At least not his biological dad. Niles did not come into the picture until Atticus was around 5. Atticus's mother died when he was 3 years old. (I initially couldn't remember how old Atticus was when she died so I had to look it up. I found it in chapter 54 of Harris's book) 2 years later the vampires came back and began attacking them so The Dragon King Mahan went to the alpha King for help. The alpha King sent his beta, Niles, along with a group of warriors to help. Nile and Mahan fell in love. Niles ended up staying at the castle for a year and for a year everything was perfect Atticus had two parents again. Unfortunately the vampires attacked again, and killed Mahan. Niles couldn't live without him so he killed himself where Mahan died. So, Niles was not Atticus's biological dad. He was only in his life for a little over a year before the Dragon Kingdom fell, an
Third Person's POV “No, it's not far. We just have to go down one level, and it's at the end of the hall,” Atticus said as he pulled the door closed behind them. Naham was eager to see if his friend was alive. Many years ago, he shared the same room with another Omega for a short time. One day, without warning, they took Andy, and he never saw him again. He always wondered what happened to him. He always wondered if he was still alive or if those bastards killed him.His desire to see his friend allowed him the courage to fight his fears and walk down the hall in search of him. Naham stayed close to Aero, holding his arm while Roman was tucked tightly in Ezra's arms. Ezra caressed Roman’s back as they walked down the stairs. Every so often, the little Omega peeked his head out, only to bury his face in Ezra's neck seconds later. Ezra chuckled as he rubbed the Omega's back and kissed his head. He couldn't get enough of Roman. He was amazed by how happy the Omega made him. He was am
Third Person's POV Nadja's eyes shot open as he sucked a breath in. His heart raced as he looked around. White hair on his chest caused the Elder to freeze. He's quickly reminded that he's no longer in that dark cell and they weren't beating him. His left leg ached. They broke it in his dream, and it felt so real. Maybe that's because they did break it, more than once. He looked down at Evelyn, and an overwhelming feeling of happiness washed over him. He couldn't believe he was waking up with his angel in his arms. He had dreamed about this moment a million times. Her body was so warm against him, and those little tingles dancing along his skin where their bodies touched were more magical than he ever remembered them to be. Her beautiful scent of honeysuckle surrounded him. All he could smell was her, and all he could feel was her. Nadja silently prayed to the Moon Goddess, thanking her for giving him one of her most precious children. He made a promise to the Goddess that he would
