Chapter 118

Third Person's POV

Traveling home wasn't as easy as getting there. With no one able to teleport, they had no choice but to use the limos in the parking lot.

Lucian's painful wails were heard by everyone as the limo drove away. The Angel cradled his daughter's head against his chest as he sobbed into her hair.

Grayson, Ezra, and Coal turned and looked at each other feeling defeated. Even though it was a victory, it was their biggest personal loss. The three had never experienced a loss so large. These great personal losses happened before they were born.

With heavy hearts, they climbed into the limo. When the door closed, the vehicle began moving toward the front gate.

Not even two minutes later, the gate comes into view, and Coal rolls down his window.

“Go slow up here. I want to see something,” Coal told the driver, and the limo slowed as it passed through the gate.

“Stop the car!” Coal exclaimed when he saw all the bodies of the guards lying on the ground.
