Chapter 122

Third Person's POV

When Ezra and Aero walked through the front door of the coven with Nadja and Lexon, they were more than surprised to find their mates weren't in their rooms where they usually are. Instead, they were in the foyer, a high-traffic area full of vampires, the very thing that frightens them. They stood in the foyer with Jace and Evelyn. They ran to them as soon as their eyes landed on their mates.

And now here Roman lies, his legs tangled with the King’s. His head propped up, resting on his hand as he watched the king sleep. The Omega isn't sure how long he's been awake, at least an hour.

He was terrified when he felt Ezra's pain. He couldn't remember the last time he was so scared. Roman thought he was going to lose his mate. The very thought was terrifying and more than he could bear.

He looked down at the King and could tell he still needed more blood. The blood he gave him last night wasn't enough to replenish what he had lost, but it was enough to heal the wounds.

Beautiful I am so glad that Nada was there with Roman and told him about mates and that there was someone who would love him it gave Roman hope and I think made it easier for Roman to accept a vampire mate. It is also beautiful how Erza treats him there is no question of his love

His POV Once out of the chaos of the auction and in the quiet car with a constant soothing hum, reality came crashing down. The submissive Alpha felt uncomfortable and awkward sitting sideways on the Alpha's lap. His muscles twitched as the urge to kneel arose. When they passed a semi, it made a loud noise, and the Alpha's eye squeezed closed, his body tensed, waiting to feel the whip kiss his skin. He held his breath, and his body trembled as he waited for the pain, but it never came. “It's ok… You're safe,” He whispered in my ear. Why was it soothing? Why did it make my body relax as if it was his command? Why did my body react to him in a way I didn't want it to? I didn't want to feel safe in his arms, but for some reason I did. I didn't want to touch him, grab him, hold him tight, but something inside me screamed to do it. My muscles twitched, trying to force me to do it, but I fought it. The memory of what happened the last time I fell for that flashed in my head.Another loud

Third Person's POVWyatt had a hard time sleeping that night. He lay on the couch in his parent's living room, thinking about his mate. He couldn't get the image of seeing him standing on stage out of his head. Having all those Alphas looking at him in nothing but those stupid pink thongs angered him. Seeing him kneeling in his room broke something deep inside Wyatt. He knew how broken Grayson's mate was from these vile people. He just never imagined his mate would be found there, too.Wyatt exhales as he sits down on his bed. He hears the shower turn on, and he runs his hands down his face. He looks over his shoulder at the bed his mate slept in last night. His eyes linger on his pillow, and a moment later, his hand moves and touches it. His fingers trail along the slight indent where his head had laid. He picks the pillow up and brings it to his face, his nose pressed against it, and he takes a breath. The submissive Alpha’s scent fills his nose, and his hands squeeze the pillow. A

Third Person's POV Sebastian holds Grayson's hand with a death grip as they walk down the stairs. He can't bring himself to look up; he keeps his eyes on the floor in front of his feet. Grayson's thumb caresses the back of his hand as they walk down the stairs. He keeps Sebastian between himself and the wall to ensure no one gets too close and scares the Delta. “Remember, love, no one will hurt you. No matter how scary they look, they won't hurt you,” Grayson said through the link, and Sebastian lifted his head and looked up at him. When Sebastian looked into Grayson's eyes, his fears disappeared. But as they approached the first floor, his fears came back when he heard how busy the first floor was. He gripped Grayson’s hand tighter, and his eyes darted around, looking for danger. As they reach the bottom stair, Sebastian's stomach drops when he sees the largest Alpha he's ever laid eyes on walking toward them. His long hair was pulled up into a bun, exposing all the tattoos around

Third Person's POVLuke and Joey screamed as loud as they could. They could barely breathe as the weight pushed down on them. They sucked a breath in before screaming again. Luke was the first to fall into a fit of laughter when Ollie weaved his hands through the mass of bodies and began tickling him.“Gucci Gucci goo.” The little shit said as he tickled Luke under his armpits. The Omega could barely breathe and was thankful when Tate scooped his brothers off of them, and the weight disappeared, allowing them to breathe. Leo and Ollie giggled and squirmed in their brother's arms. Joey growled at them when he sat up but sucked a breath in when Ollie stuck his head over his brother's shoulders and stuck his tongue out at him.“That little shit!” Joey said in shock, and Luke fell backward against the ground, laughing.Ivy laughed as she dropped down next to Vivian, who was sipping a blood bag. Her long dark hair draped over her right shoulder, and her left arm rested along the top of the

Third Person's POV Ian was frantic over his baby girl. He brushed her hair back before taking her face into his hands. “Are you okay, sweetheart?” Ian asked, with her father nervously peering over his shoulder at her. “Yes, Dad, I'm okay,” Ivy said sleepily. She was warm and cozy after a bath and tucked into her fuzzy blanket. “You scared me!” Silas finally said. The nervous vampire leaned over Ian, nearly pushing him out of the way to plant a kiss on Ivy's forehead. An angry muffled growl came from Ian when his face was pressed against the bed. He turned around and glared at Silas, but the nervous vampire was too concerned about his daughter to realize he nearly suffocated Ian or noticed he was being glared at. Vivian chuckled. She always found Ivy's parents funny. “You just rest, and I'll be right back. Daddy will fix everything,” Silas said before disappearing from the room. Ivy and Ian stared at the empty doorway for a moment before they looked at each other. “Did he just

Third Person's POV As they stepped out the front door, he fought the urge to turn and go back in. It was so much different than being in the backyard. Somehow, the backyard wasn't as wide open and exposed as the front of the pack house. The backyard faces the forest, whereas the front opens up to the pack and its little town. His heart raced, and his muscles twitched, urging him to go back inside. A large, strong hand gently squeezed his hand and reminded him he was safe as long as his Alpha was there.“You're safe. No one will hurt you,” Grayson said softly. The soft look in Grayson's eyes had butterflies dancing in Sebastian's stomach. The Alpha gave him the confidence to continue. “This pack is large, the largest in North America. My family started this pack hundreds of years ago. My great-grandfather wanted to change the way packs viewed their weak. They felt everyone deserved an equal opportunity. If an Omega wanted to learn to fight, they could. If a Delta 2 wanted to work in

Third Person's POV Lexon was almost dizzy with how quickly Ezra teleported them from one location to another as he tried to find Luther. He felt him, but Luther was gone by the time he got there. As soon as he teleported them back to the coven, he felt him again at a different location, so he immediately teleported there. By the 5th location, Lexon managed to pull free from Ezra's grasp and stop him. “STOP!” Lexon yelled in frustration.“We're not going to catch him this way! And for all we know, someone could be tricking us and leading us on a wild goose chase,” Lexon said as he pushed his hair back out of his face. Ezra yelled in frustration as he turned and put his fist through the wall. His aura was so strong it was almost hard to breathe.“Can you ease up on that a little bit,” Lexon asked as he waved his finger at Ezra.Ezra blew out a breath as he dragged his hand down his face. It was hard to ignore it when he felt Luther again. But after a moment, he could no longer feel h

Third Person's POV Roman thought it would be weird and uncomfortable being around him; after all, he had sex with his mate just before they met. But to his surprise, they get along really well. Dylan comes from the same situation as he did. Just like himself, he was rescued from a feeding facility. The only difference is that Dylan is an elf/Vampire hybrid, whereas he is a dragon/Vampire hybrid. Both were born in a place of hell and rescued by the very people who held them captive.Dylan is quiet and shy, just like he is. He's kind and gentle, the polar opposite of his mate. Vincent's charm and humor make it easy to be around him. There's never a dull moment. The Omega is constantly amused by the silly vampire, who's nothing like a vampire should be. Ezra, on the other hand, felt awkward because his mate and former fling were quickly becoming best friends. It didn't help that Vincent knew he was uncomfortable and ate it up. A subtle jab here, a larger one there; the vampire was relen

Third Person's POV The Omega dries his hands and looks in the mirror. A soft smile forms on his lips when he sees the shiny gold resting on his head. His crown isn't as big and elaborate as Ezra's. It's smaller, more delicate, and just the right size for his small frame. The gold peaks look beautiful against his brown chocolate curls. Roman reaches up and runs his fingers along the beautiful metal. It's smooth under his fingers. The color shines under the bright lights in the bathroom. The metal is flawless, and Roman can't stop admiring it. His eyes flicker between his and his dragons as they admire it. Roman gasped when Ezra appeared behind him with a smile on his face. Ezra’s hands rest on Roman's hips, causing his stomach to flutter.“You look absolutely breathtaking, my beautiful queen,” Ezra said softly as his head dipped, lips pressing to the Omega's neck. Roman's eyes closed. He pulls his lip between his teeth and tilts his head, reaching back to touch his King. Tingles da

Third Person's POV Roman couldn't pull his eyes away from Ezra, not even as Nadja spoke. He heard the Elder address the crowd but couldn't pull his eyes away from Ezra's face. The way his mate looked at him held his eyes captive. The king’s eyes swirled with emotions. Ezra didn't take his eyes off Roman as he brought his hand to his mouth and kissed it. He didn't want to let go of the Omega's hand, but he had to. His hand opened, and the Omega's hand slipped from his grasp as he stepped back. Backing away from Ezra, he bowed his head and allowed the king to turn and face the crowd. Ezra looks out at his people as Nadja speaks. His eyes land on his family sitting in the front row. He sees pride in his father's watery eyes, and tears stream down his dad's face. His dad holds his newborn daughter close to his chest, and Grayson stands tall beside his father. Evelyn watches with a proud smile as she stands next to Julian. Ezra's eyes move further down until they land on Silas and Azrae

Third Person's POV The Omega was so nervous he felt like he was going to vomit. He fiddled with his clothes nervously and hoped his hair looked okay. The Omega wore a traditional wedding suit from his realm that all royal Omegas wore. The suit was linen, a thin fabric perfect for their warm tropical weather. His colors were cream with gold stitching and accents. His pants were neatly ironed, and a traditional dragon wedding vest was fitted over his chest, leaving his arms fully exposed. It wasn't your typical vest. The front overlapped, buttoning off center over his left breast. The buttons and stitching were a beautiful color of gold, matching all the gold jewelry that decorated his body. Gold cuffs spiraled down his upper arms, and bracelets lined his wrists. Rings sat upon every finger, all except one. That finger was completely bare, waiting for his King.A thick gold choker sparkled around his neck, and earrings lined his ears with cuffs along the top. His skin glowed, his lip

Third Person's POV “I want to have your baby.” Aero was in shock as he choked on his spit, coughing. Naham tried patting his mate's back, but with each cough, the elder's cock moved inside him, causing the Omega to moan. The Elder wanted to laugh; here he was choking, and the Omega's hips moved with each cough, rutting against him. When Aero stopped coughing, he looked down at the Omega in shock.“W-what?” He couldn't have heard the Omega right. The elder had to ask his mate to be sure. Aero has never thought of children. It was the furthest thing from his mind. He never planned to settle down, and he never planned to take a chosen mate. But he also didn't plan on having a fated mate. Having Naham has changed everything. The vampire that used to have sex with someone different every day was deeply and madly in love with his little dragon. His heart and world revolve around Naham, and he has never been happier. But does that mean he would want children, and would the Omega really w

Third Person's POVOver the past two weeks, Naham has worked on overcoming his fears. He is determined to attend his son's wedding and crowning ceremony without fear. The thought of missing his only child's wedding because of his fears was enough for Naham to push himself to overcome those fears. Slowly, the Omega is overcoming them. Aero has taken Naham outside for strolls, where he's bound to run into vampires. Once he was comfortable with that, Aero began taking him for walks through the halls of the coven. His biggest accomplishment was eating in the dining room last night. That was the most vampires the dragon had been around since he was rescued. He was terrified at first, but by the end, his fears were nearly forgotten. Naham stands on the balcony and looks up at the night sky. He already feels the call of the moon. It's nearing the time that's special for all Omega dragons. His Dragon hears the call and has already begun preparations.Things are different for an Omega dragon

Third Person's POV Grayson sat in the hall with Sebastian, waiting for his dad to give birth. He couldn't wait to find out if he was getting a little brother or a little sister. Everyone looked toward the door when they heard Julian yell. “I don't need more pillows, damn it!” Julian yelled when Reid tried to stick the last pillow behind his back. It looked like the Alpha built a fort around Julian. He insisted his mate needed more pillows, so he went through all the empty rooms and took every pillow he could find.Julian finally snapped when Reid tried to stick a fourth pillow behind his back. The Omega yelled as he chucked the pillow at Reid. The nurse giggled, and the doctor laughed as they began digging Julian out.“Never a dull day when an Alpha’s mate goes into labor!” The nurse giggled, and Reid blushed as he scratched the back of his neck. Reid looked at his mate and tilted his head. The gears in his brain were turning as he tried to figure out what he could do differently.

Third Person's POV Julian made it to the end of his Grayson and Sebastian's kiss before he could no longer hide it, and water began running down his legs. The contractions began as soon as Reid passed the title to their son. The Omega was already overdue. The stress on his body from losing the position as Luna triggered labor. Becoming an Alpha or Luna makes you stronger. But when you pass it on to someone else, it makes you weaker, putting your strength to what it once was. When an Alpha transfers the title, it automatically strips the Luna of their title. The only time this doesn't happen is if their mate dies and a new Alpha isn't in power. As soon as a new Alpha takes the position it strips the current Luna from their position. As soon as Julian was stripped of his title, his body became weaker, making him no longer able to carry the baby any further, triggering labor. They were both prepared for it, and the doctor was already on standby. Reid heard Julian gasp before he heard

Third Person's POV There are so many people there, way more than Sebastian expected. The submissive Delta 3 had never seen so many people gathered in one place. His nerves were through the roof; he couldn't stop fiddling with his fingers or chewing on his lip. He was scared. He wants to be brave. He wants to be strong for Grayson, but he's not sure he can. There's just too many people. He can smell the Alphas in the crowd, and it terrifies him. His muscles twitch, begging him to kneel. How embarrassing would that be? The Delta thought. To drop down and kneel like a pet right there on stage in front of everyone. What kind of Luna would he be? He hears Xavier speaking to their people before Damien takes the microphone and gives his speech. When the Beta is finished, the Alpha of Midnight Moon Pack, the Alpha King, steps forward and takes the microphone. His strong voice rings out, reaching far across the crowd as he speaks. He tried not to think of it but couldn't stop his thoughts from racing. What if they didn't like him? What if they hated the fact he was a submissive Alpha and thought he wasn't good enough for their brother? His thoughts spiraled out of control. He had just finished buttoning the last one and gasped when Wyatt suddenly appeared behind him. His strong chest crashed against his back as his arms quickly wrapped around him. Darien smiled as he tilted his head, giving his Alpha access to his neck, which he quickly accepted. Wyatt buried his face against his skin, nuzzling and kissing him.“You're right, maybe we shouldn't go. Maybe we should just lay in bed and snuggle all night. I'm having withdrawals; I need to drown myself in you,” Wyatt's voice was muffled with his lips pressed against his mate's neck. Darien's heart fluttered when the Al
