Third Person's POV

The kiss was soft and tender, leaving the Omega wanting more. When Aero ended the kiss, the Omega chased Aero's mouth, his head lifting off the pillow and crashing their lips together. This caused the Elder to chuckle before his tongue slipped into his mouth.

The Omega had experienced an orgasm before and never liked them. They were forced on him. They found it funny to hear him say stop while his body said yes. They slowed their feeding so it wouldn't hurt and made it pleasurable. He hated it. He'd rather feel pain than pleasure from the people who hurt him.

He could still hear their laughter as they watched his tears fall while his climax neared. And when he came, they laughed even harder and told him he liked it.

This was so much different. There was no laughing, and he didn't feel dirty afterward. He didn't hate himself for not being strong enough to control his body. Instead, he felt loved in the vampire's arms. He felt cherished and taken care of. He felt s

Third Person's POV Aero gently combs his fingers through the Omega's hair. He looks down and sees a head full of dark chocolate curls resting on his chest and a handful of his white hair in the Omega's hand. His body is so warm against his, and the scent of smoke is still strong in the room. It's almost stronger than the scent of their sex. Naham lies with his ear pressed against his mate's chest, listening to his heart beating. He used to think vampire’s didn't have a heart. Maybe his captors didn't, but the vampire lying under him does. The sound of his heart beating is soothing. The Omega looks up to see blue eyes staring back at him. His heart flutters, and he feels his Dragon come forward, peering out his eyes at their mate. The Elder feels a wave of emotions washing over him when he looks into the eyes of his mate and dragon. He feels the love the Omega has for him. It was something he didn't think the Omega felt yet for him. But he does. He feels the love Naham has for him, a

Third Person's POV As soon as Reid dismissed Tate, he ran up the stairs as fast as he could. Joey's distressed whimpers have haunted him since he left. He flew up the stairs in record-breaking time and pushed the door shut behind him as he entered his apartment. He could already hear Joey's distressed whimpers as he entered the hall, which only pushed him to move faster. When he opened the door, it felt like someone punched him in the gut. The Omega's head hung from the nest, his face soaked with tears and his hand outstretched toward Tate. The distressed whimpers broke the Alpha, and he rushed across the room and pulled Joey into his lap. The Omega's body trembled; his breaths were rapid and stuttered. He clung to Tate like he was his lifeline. His Omega instincts were in overdrive, not allowing him a rational thought. Those instincts told him his Alpha abandoned him and left him. The Omega felt like he was going to die without Tate. The Alpha's strong scent in his nest wasn't enoug

Third Person's POV He grunts as his back slams into the bookshelf before gaining the upper hand and spinning them around. The table is pushed against the wall with such force that it cracks, and almost everything crashes to the floor. The ancient Elder sucks a breath in when his opponent jumps off the ground and wraps their legs around him tight while pulling him forward. Nadja stumbles, and they slam into the dresser. Her arm flies out and shoves everything off of it, sending the lamp to the floor and shattering. She leans back against the dresser and loudly moans as he thrusts into her. His mouth latches onto her breast and sucks her nipple into his mouth.Evelyn's hands fly to the back of his head, and her fingers grip his hair and tug on it. Nadja growls as he pulls his hips back before thrusting them forward as hard as he can. Evelyn's head goes back, and she cries out his name, causing his lips to tug up around her nipple. The elder's eyes burn red as he releases her breast an

Third Person's POV Lexon stood in the archway, leaning against it with his arms folded, watching Jace. After all these years, one would think the Elder would be used to watching the Omega make his nest. But somehow, each time he sees the construction of Jace’s nest, it feels like the first time. Each time feels just as special as the first time. The walls are complete; the Omega is finishing the final touches along the top edge. Jace softly purrs as he carefully lays his mate’s clothes along the top, stopping to smell each piece before placing it. It's almost as if the placement of each piece depends on its scent. Lexon has wondered in the past if his scent is stronger on certain pieces, and Jace is trying to even out the scent around the top of his nest. The Elder has never asked, but it's been his theory for years. In the past whenever he’s tried to ask the Omega about his nest, it either embarrassed him, or he didn’t remember. The Elder found it strange how an Omega could build an

Third Person's POV Sebastian holds Grayson's hand with a death grip the Alpha didn't know he had. When a random Alpha exits his room in front of the Delta, he begins to drop to his knees, but Grayson grabs his mate and pulls him flush against his chest. “Hold me,” Grayson said softly, and his Delta wrapped his arms and legs around him on command. Grayson felt the moment Sebastian relaxed and let go of that command. His body melted against the Alpha before he turned his head and buried his face in his neck. “That's it, baby, I have you! I'll never let anyone hurt you again! No one will hurt you; you're safe here.” Grayson whispered with his lips against the side of Sebastian's face. The Delta gripped Grayson tighter when he heard his words. He pressed his nose against his neck and took a deep breath in, allowing the Alpha's scent to calm him. The endearing name had his heart fluttering, and the words had his eyes burning. A few moments later, Grayson came to a stop in front of a d

Third Person's POV The foyer of the coven appeared under their feet. Ezra grabbed onto Lexon to steady himself as he became dizzy.“Here, let me help you to the feeding room,” Lexon said, knowing how desperately his king needed blood. Normally, he would care about bringing Ezra into the feeding room, but at this point, he didn't. His King needed blood, and he needed it now. “No! I'll be fine.” “No, you won't! When is the last time you've had blood?” Lexon asked.Ezra was pale going into the fight. The poison should not have affected him, but it did. It was a clear indication that he had not fed in a while. The Vampire King was so weak his powers barely worked. They barely escaped. “I'm, I'm, fi-” Lexon caught Ezra as he passed out. The Vampire King didn't realize that he used the last of his strength to burn that facility to the ground. The King turned even paler before Lexon's eyes, and he quickly gathered Ezra in his arms. Lexon's mist formed around them before the ground disap

Third Person's POV Roman flinched and squeezed his eyes closed when Ezra's fangs pierced his skin. His heart raced as memories flooded back. He squeezed his eyes tighter but relaxed when Ezra's hand gently gripped the back of his head, and his warm breath fanned his neck as he heavily exhaled against his skin. Warm, sweet blood filled Ezra's mouth, and his eyes rolled back as he swallowed it down. Roman grounded himself as he focused on Ezra. His scent, his touch, the way his cool skin felt against his warm body, and the gentle way he fed from him. It doesn't hurt. It doesn't make his veins burn, and he isn't screaming in agony. Instead, the Omega gasped when he felt the first wave of pleasure roll through his body. Ezra's tongue moves against the Omega’s neck as he sucks, filling his mouth with Roman's sweet blood. His throat moves as he swallows down the thick, sweet, coppery-scented blood, and he moans against the Omega's neck. The sound Ezra made did something to the Omega. It

Third Person's POV Ezra was left breathless from his dragon's kiss. The Omega latched onto his neck as he straddled him. Ezra hissed at the wonderful sensation when his little dragon pressed their cocks together. “Fuck, my little dragon!” Ezra curses as his head lifts off the pillow and latches onto the Omega's neck. His hands glide along the Omega's soft, silky thighs before gripping his hips as the Omega thrust against him.Ezra grabbed his hips tighter to stop his movements, and the Omega pulled his head back and looked at him in confusion. “My beautiful, Sora! I've never seen eyes as beautiful as yours,” Ezra said as he reached up and trailed his fingers next to his eyes. Sora's eyes closed as he nuzzled Ezra's hand.“It's not that I wanted you to stop. It's just. Roman and I have never been intimate like this. I need to know he's okay with this,” Ezra said, and Sora's eyes flickered as Roman came forward with him.“How do you feel? Are you okay?” Ezra asked as he cupped the Ome

Third Person's POV Darien stood in the closet, buttoning his shirt. His mind raced with all the different scenarios of things that could go wrong. He tried not to think of it but couldn't stop his thoughts from racing. What if they didn't like him? What if they hated the fact he was a submissive Alpha and thought he wasn't good enough for their brother? His thoughts spiraled out of control. He had just finished buttoning the last one and gasped when Wyatt suddenly appeared behind him. His strong chest crashed against his back as his arms quickly wrapped around him. Darien smiled as he tilted his head, giving his Alpha access to his neck, which he quickly accepted. Wyatt buried his face against his skin, nuzzling and kissing him.“You're right, maybe we shouldn't go. Maybe we should just lay in bed and snuggle all night. I'm having withdrawals; I need to drown myself in you,” Wyatt's voice was muffled with his lips pressed against his mate's neck. Darien's heart fluttered when the Al

Third Person's POV Grayson's laptop was long forgotten on the little table next to him. The Alpha lies on his side in the daybed, staring at his mate. He loves the Delta's smooth, pale skin and the way his dark, straight hair lies against his forehead. He loves how he chews on his lip while he reads and tilts his head when he doesn't understand something. He loves the time they are spending together, quietly sitting beside each other outside on the balcony, sharing the silence. “So… My job wouldn't be to fight for our people?” Sebastian's soft voice broke the silence. Grayson's heart swelled when he called them “our” people.“No. Your job as Luna is to make sure everyone who cannot fight gets to safety in the event of an attack. We have several bunkers. Normally, we use the two bunkers in the basement of the pack house. In extreme cases, we use the large one under the field beside the pack house, but we haven't used it in a long time. That one is big enough that everyone in the pack

Third Person's POV “I can't be a Luna; I'm just a Delta 3. All I know is how to be a pet. I don't even know how to be your mate,” Sebastian told Grayson before Ezra went to take down Luther. The book Sebastian was reading suddenly goes flying as Grayson grabs him from the sofa chair and falls back against the couch, wrapping him tightly in his arms. Sebastian laughs as Grayson buries his face in his neck, and his light stubble tickles his sensitive skin.Grayson's heart swells; Sebastian's laughter is music to his ears. He takes a deep breath in of the Delta 3's incredibly sweet scent, and his chest rumbles in satisfaction. The sound coming from his Alpha sends a shiver down Sebastian's spine. “I was studying,” Sebastian said, biting his lip when he felt Grayson's warm breath fan his neck. “It was taking too long! I feel neglected,” Grayson mumbled against his neck, and Sebastian's stomach fluttered. The Delta 3 pulled his head back and looked at Grayson. “I didn't mean to negl

Third Person's POV Ezra has been standing outside Lexon's door for several minutes, trying to get the courage to go in. He reaches up to knock on the door but pulls his hand back and exhales, letting his hand drop to his side. Ezra hangs his head as he turns to walk away, but the door suddenly opens. “Leaving so soon?” Lexon said, and Ezra slowly turned to face him. When Ezra looked at Lexon, he was relieved to see how well he looked. His skin looked completely normal, and his hair was just past his ears. “You look good,” Ezra said as he moved closer. He reached for Lexon's hair but paused when he saw Aero standing a few feet behind Lexon. “Come on in,” Lexon said as he stepped aside. Ezra swallowed before entering Lexon's room. When he entered the foyer, Aero turned and walked back into his brother's bedroom. Lexon nudged his head for Ezra to follow, and he did. As he entered the Elder’s bedroom, he found Jace sitting on the bed, watching a movie while crocheting. Jace looked

Third Person's POV Jace was concerned when Lexon slept the rest of the day, through the night, and into the following day.He was relieved when his brother-in-law knocked on the door late afternoon. Jace grabbed Aero's hand and quickly dragged him to their bed, where Lexon lay asleep. “Should I wake him? He hasn't woken up since he came home. I tried to give him blood, but he said he was too tired and needed a nap. That was yesterday! He hasn't woken up yet! Should I wake him?” Jace said as he tugged at his fingers, looking between his mate and brother-in-law. Aero wrapped his right arm around Jace and ruffled his hair.“He's okay. He was just exhausted. His body is working overtime to heal his body. Your skin is the largest organ in your body. He was burned from head to toe. 100% of his skin was burned off. I can tell the difference already. His skin is no longer transparent, and his hair is beginning to grow. See, look,” Aero said as he pointed to the stubble growing on Lexon's he

Third Person's POV Darien was excited but nervous. It was not only the first time he'd cooked in two years but also the first time he'd cooked for Wyatt. Wyatt's nose immediately flared as he entered the apartment. His eyes darted around as he closed the door and didn't stop until they landed on Darien. His eyes moved from Darien to the kitchen table, and his lips parted. For a moment, Wyatt is unable to move or speak. His lack of movement makes Darien even more nervous, and realizes he made a mistake. “I, I can make something else if you don't like spaghetti and meatballs. I, I should have asked you first if you liked it. I can whip something else up,” Darien said as he picked up his plate and Wyatt's. Wyatt was beside him instantly and took the plates from his hands. He set them down before grabbing Darien's waist with his left hand and pulling the smaller Alpha toward him. “I love spaghetti! I was just surprised that you did this for me. I wasn't expecting it,” Wyatt said soft

Third Person's POV Darien had a hard time falling asleep. He kept staring at the door and wishing Wyatt would walk through it. The minutes ticked by, and sleep refused to come. Darian glanced at the clock and decided maybe just a little peek would do. As quietly as he can, Darien pulls the blankets back and climbs out of bed. His sleep pants hang low on his waist, and his bare feet are silent against the wood floor as he walks down the hall. He pauses when he realizes the TV is on in the living room. But after a moment, he wonders if Wyatt fell asleep with it on. He didn't think he was watching TV; the sound was off. As quietly as he could, Darien walked into the living room. His heart raced, afraid of getting caught. He was relieved to find the Alpha fast asleep. His eyes were closed, and his lips were parted. He looked so peaceful, Darien thought as he stepped closer. He let out a quiet breath as he sat on the chair beside the couch. He put his elbows on his knees and rested his

Third Person's POV It felt so strange walking through town like a normal person again. It felt strange to be free. Somehow, the alpha next to him makes him forget how strange it is. The way his eyes sparkle with happiness as they walk hand in hand down the street. The way he opens the door for him, keeping his body between him and the road, showing chivalry, and making him feel special. It's something he never thought he would feel after what happened to him. He never thought anyone could possibly accept someone like him, but this man does. Wyatt does it so effortlessly. Darien smiles as Wyatt pulls him into another store. “What kind of art do you like?” Wyatt asked as he pulled him toward the wall of paintings “Maybe we can hang something behind the couch; what do you think?” Wyatt asked as he looked intently at the paintings, studying each one.“Um, I don't know. I think I like this one,” Darien said as he pointed to a large rectangular painting that would fit perfectly behind t

Ezra found out the hard way that wasn't the case. He remembers recognizing them, but He also remembers thinking they were insignificant. Whatever love he felt for them was no longer there. They were below him and an annoyance that he wanted to get rid of. He remembers what it felt like to hold Nadja's throat in his hand. He felt so powerful holding the ancient life in the palm of his hands. He remembers what it felt like to want to kill him, but what hurts the most is the reason he dropped his flames in the first place: his father.
