Chapter 98

Third Person's POV

As soon as Reid dismissed Tate, he ran up the stairs as fast as he could. Joey's distressed whimpers have haunted him since he left. He flew up the stairs in record-breaking time and pushed the door shut behind him as he entered his apartment.

He could already hear Joey's distressed whimpers as he entered the hall, which only pushed him to move faster. When he opened the door, it felt like someone punched him in the gut. The Omega's head hung from the nest, his face soaked with tears and his hand outstretched toward Tate. The distressed whimpers broke the Alpha, and he rushed across the room and pulled Joey into his lap.

The Omega's body trembled; his breaths were rapid and stuttered. He clung to Tate like he was his lifeline. His Omega instincts were in overdrive, not allowing him a rational thought. Those instincts told him his Alpha abandoned him and left him. The Omega felt like he was going to die without Tate. The Alpha's strong scent in his nest wasn't enoug

I hope Tate and Joey are able to complete the bond to give Joey a piece of mind and security. Also, Ezra needs to be weary when going through the vampires’s minds and keep Roman close. I believe they have a traitor at the coven and would hate for something bad to happen
