Third Person's POV

Lexon stood in the archway, leaning against it with his arms folded, watching Jace. After all these years, one would think the Elder would be used to watching the Omega make his nest. But somehow, each time he sees the construction of Jace’s nest, it feels like the first time. Each time feels just as special as the first time.

The walls are complete; the Omega is finishing the final touches along the top edge. Jace softly purrs as he carefully lays his mate’s clothes along the top, stopping to smell each piece before placing it. It's almost as if the placement of each piece depends on its scent. Lexon has wondered in the past if his scent is stronger on certain pieces, and Jace is trying to even out the scent around the top of his nest. The Elder has never asked, but it's been his theory for years.
