Chapter 119

Third Person's POV

Grayson limps slowly down the hall. Every muscle in his body aches. He's not sure what that bastard did to him, but he felt himself dying. It was the worst pain he had ever felt, and he would be happy if he lived the rest of his life without ever feeling it again.

He didn't recall the hall being so long. He swore it was shorter. He held his hand against the bullet wound on his stomach and gritted his teeth at the burning muscles when he used them to turn the doorknob and enter his apartment.

The apartment was quiet and dark, just like he expected it would be so early in the morning. Sebastian is usually fast asleep and stays that way until at least 8:00 am. Sometimes, the little Delta will sleep until 9:30. Grayson wishes he could lay there and watch him sleep until he wakes up every morning. But unfortunately, duty calls him each morning and pulls him away from his mate.
