The music was loud and thumping inside of Ammy's eardrums. Most nights, she would've embraced the bass and been grinding with the best of them out there on dance floor, but not tonight. She'd spent most of the evening washing guts out of her hair and clothes (Thanks, Jason) only to hear from one of the lab techs that Sebestian still hadn't made it back to their home. Her bond felt fine, which meant Sebestian was fine, but that didn't stop her from feeling instantly jealous.

He remembered Jason saying something about blowing off post-problem steam at his club as she and Sebestian walked away.
