This was more Ammy's scene than any club; sitting in a booth at between Jason and Ammy for an after-work drink, observing the other guests but not being obligated to talk to any of them. Occasionally someone came who wanted to say hi to Jason or Ammy and as they sat on the outside, it was easy for them to do so. No one approached her outside their circle; maybe it was that her whole-body language said she was not in a social mood, maybe it was that she rarely went anywhere without Sebestian, Jason or both and no one wanted to compete with two such formidable men for her attention. Most likely it was just that Ammy was not really the type for small talk nor the one to have many acquaintances. When Ammy made friends, it was for life and a deep connection; she had never been able to make superficial connections.
