Something was up. Ammy could essentially smell it in the air, really. Her mates were conspiring against her. As insane as that might sound. She glared as she adjusted.

"You sound paranoid, Ammy", pointed Jane out, both eyebrows raised.

Ammy grunted. "I know how it sounds. But... I can't help it. They're whispering. Conversations just stop when I enter the room. They're being secretive. And after Jason and I had a fight, when we got back together, we promised to be... better. No more secrets."

Jane heaved a sigh as she looked at him from her own desk. After the incident, when Sebestian had been working hard, Jane had returned to city, she knew Ammy would need help and also moral support. The two had stayed in contact and had talk about everything. Ammy appreciated her strength and friendship. She didn't know if she would have been able to handle everything if she wouldn't have had her at her side. They had worked their way up, a bit ironic considering that was why they are Alpha and om
