The Dream

She kept running and running. Turning back wasn't an option. No! It wasn't for her. She didn't even know how all of these happened but just found herself in this strange situation. No! She wasn't going to get killed that night. She was already getting weak. A twig from the tree pricked her skin so hard and deep and she let out a loud howl. 'What?' She muttered. She didn't know how that happened. 'Did I just howl?' She asked herself. She still kept running. A branch on the floor sprang up and she tripped and fell. She hit her head so hard that she couldn't see for seconds. She closed her eyes.The blood dripping from her head into her eyes.

She was still on the floor. She opened her eyes. She looked back.

'Look at that! Her blood...it's glowing!' Pursuer 1 said and made to touch it.

'No! Don't touch that!' Another pursuer said but it was already too late. He was enchanted with the blood and touched it. Then he fell down and died.

'Urgh! Joe doesn't listen. Now look at him. He's dead!' Pursuer 2 said. He raised up his head and looked ahead and found her lying down. She looked like she was going to pass out any minute. He smiled. This was his moment to catch her. He unleased the rope and threw it towards her. She noticed this and used the little strength in her to move forward so the rope would not touch her. They just couldn't touch her. She was too powerful and dangerous to be touched especially when she is on guard.

'Okay! I accept! I accept my stupid superpowers! Now please work? Don't fail me,powers!' She said and waited for few minutes. Nothing happened. Her pursuers were already getting close to her. She sighed. She got up and started limping. They were already catching up to her when she looked back at them. Her eyes turned red and she fainted. A man in the darkness smelled her. Her blood. That blood he had once feared to drink. The one that got him into this mess.

That blood that made him want more. He became thirsty in the dark night. He had got to get that blood. Right at the left corner of his lips, there was human blood. He quickly cleaned it with the tip of his fingers and dipped in back into his mouth. He then smiled in satisfaction.

His victim, a young pretty lady probably in her 20's just lay lifeless and looked white on the

floor. His eyes had calmed and turned from red to white. His fangs had thinned down and his teeth had become normal. But then,as soon as he smelled that blood,the desire came back.

He became thirsty for more. His eyes blazed red and that intense hunger came back. He had read about that blood. That blood could make him normal again. But it was almost impossible.

He then sniffed his way to the blood and then found a strange looking creature on the floor.

He kept sniffing thinking it was one of these wild animals. But his senses told him that it was her. He squatted and found her in a distraught state. She was breathing faintly. He had this strong feeling of her being his.

'Oh no! She can't be my mate. I'll kill her even before I get to marry her.' He said and sighed.

He brought his fangs forward and tried to locate her neck but he could not reach her. There was this forcefield, this shield protecting her that moment. She had to unactivate that forcefield. He sat and his form changed to that of a wolf. He now looked kind of like her. He sat in the night. He howled and then sat and watched over her.

Soon it was morning. The lady woke up first. She opened her eyes and quickly closed them back. The morning sun was so bright that it made her squint her eyes. She opened her eyes again and sat up on the floor.

'Huh?' She muttered. 'I...I'm alive?'

She asked no one in particular. She looked around and saw that those people pursuing her last night were on the floor.

'Mmn?' She said and squinted her face. 'What happened?' She asked herself again. Then she looked by her side. She saw a wolf.

'Huh?What a strange looking wolf.' She said. She then stood up and looked around again. She sighed as she remembered last night. She became scared. She made to walk, and surprisingly, she walked around freely.

'Seriously? How come? I was sure that branch gave me a huge scratch. And I was pierced by that sharp twig.' She said and pointed to the twig. She then looked back on the ground. She saw this strange looking wolf again.

'What if it was the one that saved me from those things' she said referring to those pursuers.

She bent forward to take a look at the wolf's face. 'It's really a cute looking wolf.' She said and brought her face closer to the wolf's face so that she could have a good look. Immediately,the wolf's eyes threw open and she was very startled that she fell on the floor. The wolf looked at her.

'Hey! You startled me!' She said and the wolf formed into a human. As he started transforming, he was groaning so hard. Then he turned fully into a human.

'Did I startle you now?' He said with a smirk at the corner of his lips. She just stayed and gawped at him. She had never seen a man this beautiful before.

'Yeah... You startled me. Who are you? She asked and stared at his juicy lips. He only stared at her and moved close to her. He leaned forward and brought his face down to hers. Her blood was driving him crazy. She thought he wanted to kiss her. As he brought his face closer to hers,she closed her eyes but then felt cold water pour on her body..
