Getting To Know Her P2

'He was here!' He said through gritted teeth with his fists folded. With the look on his face, she could tell that it was none other than his sworn enemy, Keith.

'*coughs* Where am  I? Who are you guys? And how did I get here? I thought I died.' She blabbered and Derek gaped at her in awe. He didn't have  the time to take a look at her face. She had oval shaped face which made her look really cute and babyish with round purplish blue eyes. Her lips were very reddish in colour, like blood. Her eyebrows were really thick and she had a lot of facial hair. Derek was speechless. She was really pretty.  Even, saying she was pretty was an understatement. She looked like a goddess queen. Well, literally, she is. 

'Umm? Sir? Who are you?' Catherina asked again and Derek came back to his senses. 

'You're awake!' He mumbled and walked towards her to sit on the bed. 

'How did I get here?' She said, pushing her eyebrows forward. 

'I saved your life. Don't you remember?' He asked her. She closed her eyes and squeezed her face as she tried to recollect everything that happened. Yes, she remembered. How could she ever forget? The memories came rushing like a stream whose borders has been broken. She remembered Kenn,her step brother coming into her room. She remembered him bringing out a kitchen knife while she just sat there. She remembered him stabbing her. She held her head. The memories were too painful to bear. Her head hurt a lot. Tears trickled down her face Derek rushed to hold her. 

'Hey! Hey! Hush now! It's okay...' Derek said and embraced her. 

'I'm not going to hurt you.' Derek said. She was too insecure and fragile. Yet she had immense powers. One that could destroy the universe and everything in it, both their world and the human world. No great wizard or magical being could undo what her powers could do. Then there's Keith. As much as he  hated to admit it, Keith was the only person who could tame her and her powers. He hated to think about Keith. It was always about Keith. To have an equal power that could match with Keith's, he had to get her powers.

'I'm safe right?' She sobbed. 'You're going to save me...right?' She said and looked into his eyes. 

DEREK'S POINT OF VIEW

She looked at me with her big round eyes where streams of tears trickled. 

I stared at her. She's so innocent. 

'You're not going to hurt...me,right?' She said and removed herself from my embrace. She's actually wrong. My plan is to let her fall in love with me. Then I posses her powers. Which might kill her. But is worth it. Killing people meant nothing to me. I had killed a lot of forces,spilled blood to get to where I am presently. 

'Hey!...you're going to hurt me. I can see your expression right in your face.' She mumbled like a little baby. She looks really cute. I smiled.

'I'm not going to hurt you...babe.' I said and her little eyes lit up. 

'Seriously? For real?' She asked and I nodded. She then embraced me again. Staying in this position reminded me of her. My first love. Hannah. I fought back the tears that threatened to come down and stood up. 

'You should change. There are a whole lot of clothes to wear.' I told her and then I realized that she could not stand. I sighed and left through the door. I didn't want to teleport. I didn't want her to see me use magic or anything. I wasn't in the right position to show or perform any form of magic to her. I went to call Claudia. 

'Go take care of her. Help her change.' I said and she looked at me with a smile. 

'Hmm,dear, I saw the way you looked at her. Seems like you like her, don't you?' Claudia, the woman who looked like she was in her forties said. 

'I have no feelings or whatsoever for her. She's just pretty.' Derek said and then his spirit animal appeared. 

'Hey Derek. Sorry I went out without telling you. You know, there was a meeting for all spirit animals in Bothsdale. And you know that I'm the assistant chief...' 

'Enough! Urghh!' I said and left. If I  didn't stop Camille, who was my spirit animal which was a dragon from talking,  she was going to blab the whole day. I went to my room and the spirit animal appeared there again.

'I sense that you've found her.' She said and i scoffed. 'Yeah right.' I muttered. 

'I want to see her.' Camille said and disappeared. I sighed and went to the bathroom.

KEITH'S POINT OF VIEW

I appeared back to my room. I sighed as I thought about what had happened today. I thought about her. That young girl. I sighed again and rubbed my temples. 

'Don't think too much Dante,else you'll get a headache, and you know what happens when you get a headache, right?' Circe said. Circe is the name of my spirit animal which was a wolf. And yes, I know what will happen when I get a headache. She will feel it also. The lady. I sighed. I remembered Derek. He only wants to get revenge on me with her. I laughed at this thought. Derek is really funny. Well, I don't even care about her. So does Derek. He also wants her powers. Well, whatever. 

*knock* 

'Who's there?' I thundered. I really despise being disturbed. 

'I...its me,Keith.' I heard her voice. I'm coming in!' She said and pushed my door slightly open. I sighed. 

'What do you want,Kira?' I asked and she moved towards me seductively. 

'I want you,Dante!' She said and I turned around only to see her wearing just a lingerie that barely covered her body.

'Go away,Kira!' I said barely in a whisper. And she sprayed something on my face.
