"Have you taken anything today?"

"No, I don't have an appetite."

Irene nodded, writing something down.

"Dizziness, weakness?"

"I only experienced both today."

"Soreness or any form of pain in your nipple area?"

Melissa felt embarrassed. The fact that Damien had his eyes on her as she answered all of the questions.

"It's fine, we would just do a general test, including the pregnancy test. Please come with me." Irene rose to her feet. Melissa followed suit.

"Can I come too?" Damien voiced out.

"You can wait for her at the reception. She will join you shortly."

Damien nodded, rising to his feet. They all exited the office. While Mel and Irene made their way to the laboratory, Damien was stuck at the reception. He took out his phone from his pocket and sat down. There was a missed call from Roland.

He sighed, calling the number back.
