Chapter 95

Later in the Afternoon

Mel just finished feeding Raina when a knock came through on the door. The door slowly opened from the outside, and it turned out to be Rumi, Ryan, Betty, and Victoria.

The kids ran to Melissa's bedside with the balloons they were holding; Betty was with a gift bag while Vicky was holding a food basket, which they both placed on the table in the room.

Thankfully, Mel had burped Raina and they seemed to have arrived at the right time because the little girl's eyes were open.

Damien collected the balloons from the kids, set them aside, then ushered the two kids to the adjoined bathroom to wash their hands, after which he helped them climb on the bed so they could get a better view of and interact with their sister. Rumi was to the right while Ryan was to Melissa's left.

"Ray, baby. Look who's here to see you. Your big sissy and your big brother." Melissa cooed.
