"Betty!" Vicky warmed.

"Come on, mom. You know I am telling the truth. We all know that Rhoda comes from a rich family. She's successful and has her own money. She is trying to do this so she can frustrate Damien."

"Of course, no one in their right senses would give out their hard earned properties. She is just trying to taunt Damien so he can withdraw the divorce."

"She's not going to get away with whatever selfish desires she has in her heart. I have a woman my heart beats for and no one can stop me from being with her, most especially not Rhoda." Damien said with so much determination in his voice.

Melissa fed her son after which she took his bath bath for him, dressed him up for the night, and then talked him to bed.

She exited Ryan's room and made her way back to the living room.

"I was about to make ramen. You want some?"

"I'm not sure what I want for dinner. I don't feel hungry." Melissa mumbled, approaching the table where the roses and gift bag were.
