That night, the moonlight poured into our bedroom through the sheer curtains, casting a soft, silver glow over everything. The room was filled with the faint scent of roses and lavender, remnants of the floral decorations from our mating ceremony. Alexander and I stood together, our eyes locked in a deep, unspoken connection that needed no words.
