Chapter 18

"Thomas William," he said as he looked into my eyes.

"Oh, okay," I replied shortly and grabbed some chips from there.

I bowed before turning away from him. I wasn't interested in him just because our eyes were similar.

"Your Mom ran away from me," I heard him say, which made me stop in my tracks. I looked at him again because of what he said, but he had already left.

What?

Because of my lack of interest, I left and headed to the meat section where we were supposed to meet.

I waved at him, but he just frowned.

"Why?" I asked.

"I followed you earlier," he sighed. "Who was the guy you were talking to earlier?" he asked, making me grin.

"Are you jealous?" I chuckled.

He avoided my gaze, which made me laugh even more.

"He told me that the new chips there were delicious," I told him.

"I'm not jealous," he said.

"Let's go," I said before going to the counter to pay.

We both finished so we headed straight to the parking lot to leave. When I got into the car, I received a message from my Mom.
