Chapter 54

As they got to the meeting area, they met council member Maxwell, Megan's father, sitting and scrolling through his phone as he patiently awaited the arrival of Alpha Marcus.

The moment he saw the Alpha, he got up and slightly bowed to him, in respect.

“Good morning, Alpha. Good Morning Beta Richard.” He greeted both of them.

“Good morning, Councillor Maxwell.” Alpha Marcus said and stretched forth his hand to Councillor Maxwell who took it in a firm handshake.

“How are you doing today?” Alpha Marcus asked him.

“I'm doing fine, thank you.” He replied, “I hope you're doing well too?” He asked him too and Alpha Marcus nodded in response.

“Well aside from the recent events, I think I'm fine.” Alpha replied as he took his seat on his throne while Councillor Maxwell and Beta Richard took their seats right after he sat down.

“Yes, I understand. Thanks to the moon goddess that we were able to do something before things got out of hand. Kudos to you all for being alert.” Councillor Maxwell co
