Leah POV
I noticed Stephanie was not here. She was the only person missing amongst everyone. I wondered where she could be. As the Beta, she was supposed to be here, welcoming the guests.
Which made me realize one thing. Did Thomas come alone without any guards?
“We should move to the office to discuss, don't you think?” Damian asked him after they were done with the refreshments.
“I think that would be better,” Thomas nodded, stealing glances at me. “We should speak as Alphas without the input of women, don't you think?”
Damian raised an eyebrow at his words. He was not pleased. “My Luna makes decisions for the pack so I value her advice a lot,” he said and turned to me.
“I'll see you later,” he murmured, kissing me on the lips before standing up. He left with Thomas, leaving Lucia with me. Marcus also joined them.
