Leah POV

Damian was walking towards me with a smile on his face yet I couldn't move. My body refused to listen to my will. Every hair on my skin stood. My brain was blank.

I couldn't understand what was happening. Was this a dream? Maybe I might wake up soon. My heart started beating faster and my breath became heavy. I was beginning to panic.

As they got close, Thomas saw me and a smile formed on his face. I couldn't take it anymore so I turned around and ran away.

“Anne!” I heard Damian calling me faintly but I could not stop. It would be impossible now. I ran to my room, not Damian's room and fell on the bed.
