Damian POV

I almost died watching that wolf attack Anne. Thank goddess Connor was faster and attacked him while I saved her. I kissed her, forgetting the fact that we were in front of others. She was safe, I told my wolf. 

Someone cleared their throat, pulling back to the present and I pulled away from her. Anne was breathing heavily, her lips red from the kiss. It looked lovely on her, as always. 

“You seem to have become more passionate,” Oscar cheered and started clapping vigorously. I glared at him, annoyed at his childishness but I was still embarrassed. I had never lost control like that. 

When I arrived and didn't see Anne, I panicked and ran to Oscar for help. His men immediately told me what had happened which was the reason I was able to find her so quick. I never thought I would be so scared and protective of someone at the same time.
