Leah POV

I could tell from Connor's expression, he had a lot to tell Damian but was waiting for him to get stronger. As for me, I was exhausted.

My body ached terribly and I was tired. All I wanted to do at the moment was lay my head on the bed and sleep for hours. It wasn't possible but a girl could wish. I had to prepare to leave for the factory again yet mentally, I was exhausted.

If I didn't go in today, it could kill the enthusiasm of the workers and I wanted to show them that the attacks did not stop or weaken my resolve. We would do better while still trying to catch the one responsible. I had to be there.

I went to the mansion and almost hit Evelyn who was holding Damian's breakfast in her hands. She was surprised to see me.

“I'll just be going to take my bath,” I yawned terribly while covering my mouth. My eyes were closing so I shook my head. A little cold water would wake me up.
