Chapter 124

Leah POV 

My heart had been so heavy after my encounter with Thomas and I didn’t know what to do or who to talk to. He only gave me seven days. Within those seven days, I had to make a choice. He didn’t leave me with much choice. 

Two days had already gone by and I was yet to make a decision. My head was going berserk with each passing second. My talk with Connor had helped me a little but in no time, realization set in and I realized that there was no escaping this. 

I was frantically pacing around in my room when the doors opened to reveal Stephanie. 

“What are you doing here now?” I asked her exasperatedly. 

She was the reason why I was in this mess. I hated her so much. 

“I was checking to see if you’ve crawled out of your skin yet and revealed your true self.” She said. 

Then it hit me. She was spying on me. Perhaps, Thomas has asked her to do it.
