Connor POV

I stormed back into my room and banged my fist on the wall. Hearing a gasp, I turned to see a very shocked Anne. She placed her palm over her mouth.

“I’m sorry,” I apologized quickly, equally shocked to see her.

I didn’t know what she was doing in my room.

“I’m so sorry you saw that,” I said, more composed now.

She walked up to me with careful steps, “No, it’s fine. I’m just curious to know why you’re so frustrated,” She said calmly, then took a seat on the edge of my bed. Her face looked so forlorn and sad.

“What’s the matter with you, Princess Anne? You don't look so good,” I couldn't help but say.

She smiled weakly, “I could say the same thing about you,”

If only she knew.

“How are you feeling now?” I asked her.

She had been going through a lot and we hadn't spoken in a while.

“I feel a lot better, Connor. Thanks a lot,”

“You don’t seem okay, are you sure that you’re okay?” I needed to make sure.
