Reagan POV

Mum, I did it.

“Our true Alpha has arrived!” Grandmother Lana proclaimed, her voice filled with pride and reverence.

The hall erupted with the sounds of werewolves howling, their voices echoing off the stone walls in a symphony of triumph. I looked out at the crowd, my eyes seeking her. Amidst the sea of faces, she stood out, her expression a mixture of shock and disbelief.

A smirk tugged at my lips despite the searing pain from the poison coursing through my veins. The ball is in your court, Andrea. What are you going to do?

She stared at me, and the moment our eyes locked, she must have seen the flicker of agony I couldn’t completely hide. Determination replaced her shock as she walked towards me, her steps purposeful and unwavering. It was as if time slowed, the noise and movement around us fading into the background. She was the only thing that mattered.

Without hesitation, she pulled me in for a kiss. The hall fell silent, the collective gasps and murmurs of the c

Guinevere POV "I hated everything about this stupid party," I thought, forcing a smile as I navigated through the crowd. Inside, I was seething. How could they all switch sides so easily? Hayden was the rightful Alpha. If it weren't for that cursed Alpha ring, Hayden would be standing there, not Reagan. I had hoped to talk my dad out of this madness, but seeing him grinning alongside Reagan made me realize my mum had already convinced him. With a heavy sigh, I gulped down my drink, wishing for this day to end. I moved through the crowd, deliberately keeping my distance from Reagan and his triumphant gaze. Flashes of our kiss earlier kept invading my thoughts. My hands clenched tightly as the image replayed in my mind. Ugh, I felt like screaming at the top of my lungs. I hated the kiss, hated the way he looked when we pulled apart, and most of all, I hated the pain and betrayal I saw in Hayden's eyes. As if sensing my turmoil, Hayden walked in. Before he could go any further, I

Reagan's POVIs that how she looked at me? A monster? I murmured to myself, my eyes lingering on Andrea's peaceful face as she slept. Gently, I tucked the strands of hair that had fallen across her face behind her ear.I'd been called many things: monster, bastard child, murderer, the devil. Over time, I'd grown a thick skin, letting those names bounce off me. But hearing such hurtful words from her stung in a way I hadn't expected. No, I shouldn't care. It was better if she saw me this way. Despising me would keep her at a distance, which was exactly where she needed to be."Do you plan on moping beside her all night?" a familiar voice broke through my thoughts.A grin tugged at my lips. I knew that voice—a voice I had missed dearly. Turning, I saw my best friend and beta, Rya, standing in the doorway, her grin as wide as ever."Welcome back, Alpha," she said, wrapping me in a hug."It's good to see you," I replied, returning the embrace. She pulled away and glanced at Andrea on the

Guinevere's POVI bit my cheeks as I tried to suppress the anger bubbling within me. Why did he have to be so infuriating? What gave him the audacity to think he could just bring me here and lock me up? Ugh, I wanted to slam his face against the wall, but as much as I wished to do that, I knew I couldn’t. Reagan was one to keep his word, and no matter how pissed I was, I couldn’t act recklessly and endanger innocent lives. So, reluctantly, I said, "Fine."A smile tugged at his lips, and he slowly released his grip on me. "I’m glad we’re on the same page."More like I had no choice"The Crimson Pack is always welcome here. I have some meetings to attend to. Make yourself at home," he said with a grin as he turned to leave.Once he was out, I grabbed a pillow and screamed into it at the top of my lungs until I felt a little better. Flopping onto the bed, I stared at the ceiling. Was this really how my life would be? Trapped with Reagan forever. I wondered about Hayden and how sad he mus

Her eyes were wide, betraying a mixture of confusion and longing. I took a step closer until we were mere inches apart. She glared at me, her breathing heavy, her chest rising and falling rapidly.I leaned in, my voice a low murmur. "Are you okay? You seem pretty down," I teased, a sly smile playing at my lips."I'm fine," she snapped, her voice cold, but her eyes betrayed her. She took a step back, and immediately, I stepped forward, closing the gap. Her lips parted slightly, and I could see her struggle to maintain her composure. Being this close to her made me feel like I was losing my mind. My gaze fell to her flushed pink lips. I wanted to suck on them, to bite them until she screamed my name. She licked her lips, a subconscious gesture that drove me wild. I glanced back at her and saw the unmistakable lust in her eyes. A

Reagan's POV The loud thud of Hayden's fist collided with my face, making me stumble back. Pain radiated through my cheek, and I could taste the metallic tang of blood. Hayden's eyes blazed with a fury. He scoffed, looking down at me with disdain. We were, thirteen, father had just begun training us, preparing us for the day we would shift to our wolf form. Reagan's POVWeeks had passed since the incident with Carlos, and yet, the distance between me and Andrea remained like an insurmountable wall. No matter what I did, I couldn’t hate her. I had tried—tried to pull away, tried to sever the connection we once shared, hoping that the space between us would help my feelings die. But it was futile. Wherever I was, her presence haunted me. I ached to hold her, to pull her close, to feel her soft lips on mine.Every time I saw her in the hallway, the regret in her eyes was unmistakable. She was sorry, that much was clear. The way she offered small smiles, her little efforts to say "hi" in passing—it all spoke of her remorse. But no matter how much I wanted to close the gap, I couldn’t. Not because of the betrayal, but because of something far more dangerous.I sighed, pulling my shirt down to reveal the mark on my chest. The cursed mark. I had hoped, after Amy’s spell was interrupted, that the hex hadn’t taken root. But as the days passed, th

  • The Rogue Alpha's Bride   Chapter 53

Reagan's POV We circled each other like predators in a deadly dance—myself, Otis, and Carlos—each of us tense, eyes locked in a silent battle of wills. Carlos glanced at me, then flicked his gaze to Otis, his lips curling into a smug grin."Well, this seems a little unfair, don’t you think? Two against one? I’d say that’s cheating," he sneered, his voice dripping with mockery.I smirked, enjoying the way his anger simmered beneath the surface. "If you’re such a coward," I began, my tone casual but cutting, "then just ask." I glanced over at Otis and gave a sharp nod. "Stand down."Otis hesitated, his eyes widening in disbelief. "Reagan, you can’t be serious—"I cut him off, my voice firm and unyielding. "You don’t intervene. Even if Carlos is slitting my throat, you don’t move." My words barely left my lips when Carlos lunged forward, his fist connecting with my jaw in a brutal blow that sent me crashing into the wall.I groaned as I pulled myself up from the ground.
