Hades’ POV

“Again,”

“Al..alpha” the pathetic executioner stammered.

“Again,” I growled, my eyes darkening.

This was the only way to feel. After I had discovered her abduction, I had become numb. It was like with Daisy gone, so was my sunshine.

My wolf howled not from the pain of the silver chain whip slashing through my skin, but for the fact that we had failed to protect our own.

“Leave” Lucien growled, his eyes darkening, showing the presence of his wolf.

I heard the silver chain whip clank on the cold floor, the rushed steps of the coward I can executioner echoing down the hallway.

“Control yourself Hades,” Lucien growled.

My body vibrated with anger, the walls rumbled, “where is she?” I snarled, my eyes darkening and claws drawing out.

The fetters snapped, and I flexed my wrist. There was no chain that could hold me.

My shoulders bumped roughly into Lucien, causing him to stagger and I walked pass him into the bathroom.
