Daisy’s POV

I couldn’t shut my eyes.

It wasn’t fear that I felt, but I was angry.

Angry at Bertha, at Alec, angry at everyone. Just at the fact that he had the mind to use Blair to threaten me.

“So what’s your plan?” Blair asked.

I had conveniently kept basics details of Alec offer from her knowledge.

“Truthfully I don’t know, but the ultimatum is hanging around my neck like a noose.

A single tear rolled down my cheek, “that can’t be an option,” I muttered in a low voice.

I walked out of the room leaving a confused Blair. I understood her reasoning, but I couldn’t be selfish, this sacrifice was worth it.
