LOGINAt her coming-of-age party, Princess Evie discovers that her mate was Alpha Ronan, her family’s long-sworn enemy. Theirs was a generational enmity that started years ago and had always been passed down from one generation to the next. Alpha Ronan was arrogant, possessive, and listened to no one; like he had made an entrance in her coming-of-age party without invitation. To stop the oncoming war between the two clans, she gladly offers to be sent to her mate’s clan as a treaty. However, the mate bond seemed to have very little effect on the ruthless Alpha, who locks her up just to show off his might to her clan. Evie finds a way to make him release her and realize he was not as heartless as she had thought. However, one thing poses a problem. Her mate was a sex addict who would sleep with just any lady who is willing. Jealous, Evie fights the other women for attention and when it doesn’t work, she returns to her clan dejected. However, she doesn’t stay long as soon, she returns to learn the full story of what had turned him to a sex freak. Things were beginning to go smoothly for the both of them, or so Princess Evie thought until one morning, she receives a letter of her parent’s death with all evidence pointing towards her mate that she was beginning to fall in love with. At that point, she is torn about what to do. Will she ignore the hard-core evidence to protect her mate? Will she choose him over her clan? Or will she trust the facts and abandon the life she was beginning to create with him?

"No" I screamed out loud at Sebastian who had his arms wrapped around mine firmly, his nails dug into my hand making it sip out blood.
"You cannot do this to me, not now, please" I pleaded with him to have a change of mind, this cannot be happening to me, not now.
" I Sebastian Tala of the red moon pack rejects you Aurora as my mate, you are just a weak human and I need someone who would be able to fight with me in battles just like my mother did with my father,"
I shook my head, refusing to listen to what he was saying, there was no way I was going to accept what he had just said.
I was his rightful mate, his Luna. I was supposed to be by his side at all times but now, I was being discarded like a piece of trash and it hurt.
"I will learn, I am ready to learn just so I can fight by your side, please" I pleaded with him while trying to fight back the torrent of tears that threatened to slip down my cheek.
"Sebastian please, have a second thought about this and then we can talk about this, not now, not when you are soon to be Alpha, you will need me by your side," I tried cajoling him to see reasons with me.
Sebastian had pulled me away from his friends and ordered me to come along with him and I could hear them cheering at the door for him, in such a way that broke my heart.
I had thought they liked me, I did all that I was asked to do, even when I wasn't supposed to just because of the love I had for Sebastian.
"You promised me,'' I glared at him, pulling his arm away from mine when I noticed that he wasn't going to have a change of heart.
"You promised not to hurt me, Sebastian, you told me I was all you needed and no one else, you told me I was enough in my human form, why then are you having a change of heart?"
" You must have been so stupid to think that I will live the rest of my life with a weak human like you, you aren't even worth my affection and I had to do it because of my father and yours" he spat out harshly at me.
I took a step backward, as his word resonated in my ear, piercing through my heart, the very one that I had given him, shattering it into pieces.
" You never loved me?" Sebastian's lips curved into a smirk as he glanced at me.
"Have you taken a proper look at yourself in the mirror? I detest you Aurora, you do, now get out of my life," he pointed in the direction of the door to me.
"Sebastian please" the tears which I had been holding, flowed down my cheek, ceaselessly, they couldn't stop, no matter how hard I tried to make them stop.
"Go and die Aurora, that is what you deserve, Aurora," his voice was higher than the last and it made me shudder when I realized how much he hated me.
I glanced at Sebastian with regret flowing through me. I had given it all to him, my heart, my body, my soul but now I was thrown to the wolves by the same person who I had given my all.
I turned on my heel and pulled the door open, running out of it, far away from Sebastian, far away to a place where I wouldn't see him ever again.
"Aurora," Karen, one of his friends, called out my name as I ran past him but I wasn't ready to listen to whatever it was that he had to say.
I ran as fast as my legs could carry me out of the pack, the full moon will be approaching soon and it was celebrated hugely in the Red Moon Pack and I knew that no one would notice my absence.
I ran swiftly toward my parent's house. I needed to inform them of what had happened and ask them again when my wolf was going to appear.
I was past eighteen already but still, I had no wolf and I was being humiliated by everyone around me, everyone kept taunting me endlessly.
I didn't mind the glances that I was receiving as I ran with all my might on the pavement heading home, not stopping to catch my breath.
"Mother" I screamed out as I pushed the gate, but my voice came out as a whisper, my voice was hoarse already from crying.
"I cannot lie to her, you know she is a human and she has been going through so much pain because of that, why don't we tell her the truth?" I heard my mum's voice from outside as I placed my hands on the knob attempting to push it open.
"Darling you cannot do that, we made a promise not to let her know, so why this sudden change of mind?"
" I cannot do this anymore Alexis, the pain on her face when she sees her mates turn into wolves hurt me, I do not think we are being fair here, she deserves to know the truth" her voice came through again.
" But you promised not to, since the day we picked her up by the wayside, we made a promise, do not break our daughter in such a way, please" I heard my father plead.
I took a step backward, releasing my grip from the doorknob, I let the tears cascade down my face, my parents had lied to me continuously.
They had looked into my eyes and lied to me, they have hurt me in ways that I never knew was possible.
"How could they?" I wondered out loud to myself while rubbing slightly on my chest that ached, because of the truth that I had found.
My feet were clumsy as they found their way to the gate, my heart heaved fast against my chest, beating continuously.
Everyone was right, I deserved to die, my parents had lied to me, they had looked me straight in the eyes for the past twenty years and told me lies.
They kept giving me hope even when there was none and it hurt, it hurt because I would have lived better if I had known I wasn't a wolf.
"Have you taken a proper look in the mirror?" Sebastian's words came to my memory, making me chuckle. He had hurt me.
I ran a hand through my hair, frustrated, my heart seemed to be bleeding and I wished that I would be able to pull it out but I knew it wasn't possible.
I ran far into the bush, the same bush I have stood watching others change into wolves underneath the full moon and I wished to be like them.
"Mother, father, why? How could you break me in such a way?" I screamed out loud, and my voice echoed across the forest, so that anyone could hear the pain in them.
It was still and I knew the path like the back of my palm, I made my way to the cliff standing at the edges.
It was best I leave the lives of everyone who was around me, they would leave a better life without me beside them.
I pulled off the jacket I had been given for my eighteenth birthday by Sebastian and my shoe, before glancing at the full moon.
I glanced at the raving water and I clenched my fist tightly as I pushed myself forward welcoming the peace I was going to feel afterward.
The King sat on the rock close to the garden. He was picking up pebbles and throwing them into the little river that ran along the flowers and leaves. He looked up, and Morak was coming down the stairs."Isn't it a bit odd to see the King of the Blue Moon Clan throwing pebbles into the river?" Morak asked as he descended down the stairs and stood by the rock where the King sat.The King of the Blue Moon Clan looked up, brows creased in confusion and palms clenched. He opened his mouth to speak but nothing came out.He badly wanted to let it all out, but he couldn't say a thing."Is it about the Princess?" Morak guessed, and the King's eyes snapped back to him instantly."How did you know?" He scoffed and stood up, shaking his head in the process."She's well mannered, she's a beauty, and she dresses smart. Do you think it's normal for me to...." He sighed again.."You know for me to..." The King chuckled, like it was too hard for him to say. And it definitely was."You know for me to j
The King moved swiftly, grabbing her hand and pushing her back without touching his own sword. His sword was still sheathed and was stuck into the ground next to him.Alpha Ronan had decided to show the Princess of the Crystal Clan what it took to beat him, the King of the Blue Moon Clan.He chuckled when she groaned and came forward again. He shook his head. "Keep moving like that, and you're going to die. Patience is a virtue, Princess." He said and she rolled her eyes.Evie dropped her sword as well, her hands laid flat on the ground as he pushed her back again. The King was like an immovable rock. She looked around, and Lady Quinn and Lady Salvatore were hailing her to keep the good work going. She ran quickly once again, pressing her knee on the wet field. She grabbed the King's leg and pulled him down.Alpha Ronan, with deep interest, was going to see what the Princess of Crystal Clan could do.He was thrilled at first when Morak had told him how good she was at fighting, and he
The meadow was beautiful, like Evie had imagined it to be. She assembled the arrows and then the swords she had brought for the six of them.It was nice seeing that they were all in the huge meadow, all together to shoot and learn how to do that. She had never thought the Lord would tag along, and she was happy he did."Are you sure it's the same? I don't think it is." Lady Quinn said, picking up the dry meat to drop it on the plates she had begun to arrange."Really? I actually thought it was the same thing." Evie said, scrunching up her nose in disgust as she watched the Lady Quinn drop another piece of meat into the fry pan.The meadow visit had somehow turned into a picnic, a big picnic she was enjoying. She kept shuffling through the bags she had dropped, only for something to fall down. When she bent to pick it, big, huge hands had already picked it up from the ground, and she turned around to see the King pocketing the item in his garments."Is it yours?" She squinted her eyes
When they got to the dungeon, the woman was tied to a pillar that stood tall in the middle of the dungeon where she was kept.Evie scrunched her nose due to the stench that came from everywhere.'God! How was the woman perceiving all these?' She wondered."Wake her up." Alpha Ronan ordered, and a bucket of water was poured on the woman, snapping her out of sleep..She gasped, looking around as her breath increased knowing, she was captured."Who sent you? Let's not beat around the bush.. I'd like to end this quickly." He said, picking up a rod that Evie had not seen.It was at the bottom of the table, close to where the woman's feet were kept. Was he really going to..."Hmm?" The King hummed, looking at the rod like it was something interesting. Well, for him it was."Who sent you? I won't be merciful again and ask you that. Better spill what you know." He clicked his tongue. The woman said nothing, probably wanting to see what the King of the Blue Moon Clan could possibly do.Thud! T
