Daisy’s POV

“Guards,” he called, voice dripping with menace.

“Please no, please,” Blair cried, her eyes in panic as the guards pushed forward.

I dropped to my knees, my hands holding his feet, “Alec, please! I’m sorry!” I sobbed, my voice cracking from fear.

“I’ll listen, I’ll obey,” I stuttered, desperately searching for the words to quell his anger.

“Say it like you mean it,” Alec growled, his tone dripping with authority.

“I will listen to every word you say, Alpha,” I said, bowing slightly to him.

Alec’s eyes darkened, his chest puffed up at my action. “you look pretty when you beg,” he said in a lazy drawl.

“she will live to see another day,” he muttered, storming out of the tent like he hadn’t just created havoc.

I rushed to Blair’s side, my arms wrapping around her body, pulling her into a hug.
