Daisy’s POV

“I have a plan,”

The words seemed to have caught bertha’s interest.

“I have noticed just how a particular carriage comes in every three days, with new supplies,” I whispered, watching Bertha nod her head vigorously.

“I have studied their movement, and I have noticed that they barely check the carriage when it is leaving the camp,” I muttered.

“The next arrival is tomorrow, and I am going to hide in it,” I said, finally dropping the bombshell.

Bertha’s eyes widened, “did you get any help planning this?” she whispered.

“no, I told you I was resourceful, I only needed to observe and everything would make perfect sense,” I bragged, smirking to myself.

I could see the wheels turning in her head, she had questions, a lot of them I was sure, but the plan wasn’t perfect, it had a goal to serve.

“I am going to turn in early, tomorrow is a big day,” I said.

“Yes it is,” Bertha muttered.

“sleep tight,” she whispered.
