Chapter five

(The Judgement)

Cassie's mom couldn't sleep throughout the night wondering how bad Cassie felt. though Cassie did not feel so good she wondered what our fate will be in school.

As they drove into the school in the morning, Cassie looked out of the window at a girl who will always make frustrate her mom.

''Castle hope you are good?'' Her mom asked,

Her dad looked into the front mirror and said to Cassie... ''Princess, should we just transfer you to another college?'' He asked ''we can just turn back if you don't want to do this?'' He said feeling the pain his daughter was feeling, the trauma might still be affecting her.

She looked into the mirror ''dad, I have to do this for the lost soul and it's the least I can do to clear the bad impression of people''  she said as she looked into her phone and took a look at the pics on her phone.

Her mother signed as she remembered days before she left, she took her mom's phone to prevent her from going to work after an hour's search ''princess, did you notice where my phone is?'' She asked as she check her time.

''Mom, must you go to work?'' She asked her in a childish way

She looked at her in  ''what do you mean?'' she asked ''this has been a family business where I run and you don't want me to go?'' Looking at her daughter who wanted attention ''you are 21 princesses and you are supposed to act like an adult, it is in the last year in school'' her mom added, she noticed her daughter feeling less concerned... She moved to Cassie '' my angel, I promise you that I will come early, we will have all the time so don't feel sad..'' They hugged...Tears dropped from her mom's eye but no one noticed it. 

In school, as they walked into the school court, she felt a chill move around her body as students whispered into each other ears... They wondered what the students were saying. Then a student shouted ''the heartless leader'' he shouted as she turned to see him here one of her juniors who once respected her. As the students began to speak words aloud. Tears drop from her eyes 

''Cassie, don't listen to them'' her father said...

''Close your ears Cassie'' her mom ordered

They got in the hall, as everybody was set to hear what happened that night. The seniors sat and the families affected looked at her with anger in their eyes  Cassie burst into tears as everybody watched her closely. 

One of the lecturers said ''I don't fall for her crocodile tears'' he whispered as he got impatient A very beautiful woman aged 35 looked closely at her. She is the school counselor ''let her cry'' she said

After 10 mins, the trail started and every student looked attentively even her rival. Who is on the same level as her but likes to compete with her. Happy to see her in trouble

''Casandra castle, what happened that night?'' Counsellor Nancy asked 

Cassie looked around the hall and saw the vice chancellor looking close at her followed by the school and student committee She remembered the time she was voted as the president of the student committee and always appeared as the star of the school that reputation is all gone now... The judgment made today determines if her name will be restored or not...

She took her time to explain then Jay was called out and he was heard.

After all the narration the counselor took the final judgment from the student committee, the lecturer committee, and the vice chancellor before the result was announced. Cassie took a glance at her parent and they signaled to her calm.

''Cassandra castle, after gathering information from the officer and the victims It is said that you are guilty and not capable of being the leader of the great school crystal college. You are hereby relieved of every post you are in crystal college and you are by restricted from some other activities till school considers you and pardons you from your faults'' Mrs. Nancy announced...

As tears gushed out from her eyes,  ''am sorry'' she added at the end of the result '' submit every one of your files as the president to Sonia your vice'' she said as she felt sober to see Cassie cry knowing she was accused but she was the only one who believed her.

Sonia jumped for joy with her team, as some students who pitied her and the heads of departments and school left...

''Jay'' she called almost slapping him but she most not because she might be expelled. "Why did you tell lies, when you couldn't even save my bestie," she said in a low voice.

He didn't answer he moved out of the hall as Pretty had already broken down in illness due to the shock... How wish she came

Her parent got down and hugged her close as Mrs. Nancy stared at them feeling pity for the innocent girl... 

"Mom, I tried to save her" she cried deeply "I tried my best, I am a failure" she wept
