Chapter two

(The betrayed)

The friends got their couple's room and left Dinah alone all by herself, 

" I wondered why the woman waved my question, she is just supposed to tell us what is going on" Cassie pulled her cloth angrily... Jay wasn't even paying attention to what she was saying. He was staring at her body. Cassie remembered what the woman said" you guys must follow this if you want to go home safe" and as she was trying to ask questions she switched the conversation. "Let me show you your rooms"

She sat at the reading table as she read the guideline given to them by the woman 

Jay stood up and went to her, kissed her neck and wanted to aim for her lips

"No jay, I am busy here," she said stopping him

He closed it "who needs this nonsense," he said angrily... Cassie pushed him " come to your senses man, I need a break" she struggled and broke loose

"I need a drink," he said going out angrily

"Jay" she tried to call him back

He was so angry she slammed the door, he looked towards the room and saw Dinah smoking at the doorway. 

"Hey, Jay Having a hard time with your bird?" She asked

"Yeah, she gives me hard time sometimes" Jay said in anger

Dinah took smoke and said, "do you want a smoke?" She asked

He smiled "I think that would help," he said and collected the smoke

"You know she must not see you smoking with me, she doesn't know I smoke," she said 

"Yeah," he said and drew her close " am sorry for not paying you enough attention, Dinah it's not easy to satisfy two ladies," he said pleading

"Am not angry and I want you... Stop kissing Cassie in front of me, it makes me angry" she said in disgust

"I won't promise you that," he said and grabbed her lips and pushed her inside her room

2hours later

"Where have you been Jay?" She asked, she hadn't been sleeping 

"I have been downstairs taking fresh air" he answered and got into bed

"Am sorry, Jay for being harsh to you" she apologized

"I know, I love you." He kissed her forehead and drew her close

The next day,

They were all ready to go for the hike in the woods,

 

"Good morning kids" Fiona greeted "I can see you are all ready for the hike... Don't forget anything"

Pretty laughed and whispered to Dinah "She sounds like my mom" they both laughed

"What's funny?" She asked 

"Nothing" they answered

Cassie didn't pay attention to anybody, she just minded her own thing as they packed their things in their bags pack.

"Cassie, what wrong?" Dinah asked

Cassie put on a smile "am good" she said not minding her friend

"Don't look good" Dinah said touching her head

"I know, am just having a headache pack your bags... We have a long way to go" Cassie said in a manner that no one have noticed before. Her four friends look at themselves and look away from her.

"Cassie castle"Fiona called her

" ma'am" she answered

"Make it back here before 6 pm" Fiona advised

"Yes ma" she answered

The hike started as the friends were amazed by the view that they were seeing... The free breeze, the waterfall, antelopes and rabbits, beautiful birds They felt so pleased.....

Took pictures which Cassie wasn't smiling, then Jay held her "what wrong my love?" He asked

"Nothing" she answered "am just not really in the mood" she answered

Jay took a look at her, "you know you said that yesterday and today you are giving me attitude" he said

"Pretty, are you taking the pictures?" She asked

"Yeah, got everything" pretty said in delight

"How are the calculations going man?" She asked Jack

Jack looking at her never seen her like that answered " yeah, we walked a mile" answered

"Have you written anything Dinah?" She asked her best friend

"Yeah, but your face gives me a creep," Dinah said confused

" Alright, let's go back," she said turning back

"Cassie, this is the right spot for camping we are not going anywhere" Jay answered "we are partying"

"But she asked us to return before 6" she answered objecting

"She just trying to prove mom thing" Pretty added 

"I object as the team leader," she said angrily

"We are not going anywhere," jack said dropping the cooler and his backpack "am tired, it is just two o clock" she answered

"We are not here for fun" she opposed

"You are like your mom, Cassie you always think you are right," Jay said

"Watch your tongue, Jay" Dinah calm him down

not believing her ears she said "then party" she ordered

After some minutes, 

"There is no network," jack said with disbelief

As Cassie checked her phone, hope nothing bad happens

"Cassie, I am sorry" Jay apologized 

"You shouldn't have mentioned my mom," she said bitterly

"Am sorry" he drew her face to him and kissed her... Dinah was so pissed off and ran away

"What got into her?" Cassie asked 

"I don't know" he answered "let me go after her" he stood up and left Cassie

The sheriff sounded an alarm And announced

"Everybody to the main hall, it is almost time park everything you will be needing" they announced. As people shut their doors and windows rushing to the main hall like they were used to it

Fiona hurried out as she remembered the kids... 

"Fiona, are you ready?" He asked

"No the kids are not back yet," she said worriedly

The sheriff got pissed off "I asked you to give them guidelines" he asked angrily

"I did, she promised me," Fiona said

"That's why we restrict young people from coming into this town," he said as he switched on his speaker

"sheriff Peter, please join me... We have a rescue mission"

The sheriff dropped his wife and daughter in the hall promised he will come back for them and his wife begged him not to go.

"What is wrong?" He asked Dinah

"I hate it when you kiss her am tired of all this" she pushed him while he attempt to touch her...

They have walked far away from the others

"You must be kidding," he said "she is my girlfriend" he reminded her

"Who am I?" She asked disappointed

"My other girlfriend" he answered trying to console her

"Am tired" she said " I know she is my best friend but I want what she wants" she said crying

He drew her close and gave her a deep kiss, then someone clapped her hands

"What a nice play" she praised to mock, "how dare you?" She shouted

"And I called you my best friend and you Jay you are a loser," she said as she ran back to the camp

"You disappoint me, Jay," Jack said as he left

The two lovers didn't know what to do, Jay hurried up to get Cassie.

At the camp, it was already dark so Cassie couldn't go back alone 

"Cassie am sorry" he started to apologize suddenly they heard a wolf howl, they got scared and heard something moving around the bush 

" what the hell is that?" jack asked as pretty held his hand shivering... The wolf howls became louder. As Dinah holds pretty,  that moment they forget their arguments...

The sheriff, "where can they be" asked

" We passed a mile now,  where can they be?" His partner asked

They heard gunshots...... "Follow the sound of shots" he ordered.
