I had been awake most of the night. It may have been a total figment of my imagination, but I could swear I could feel Kayda and her wolf Flame reaching out to me and Jagger. It was like I could feel the mate sparks faintly on my skin and like little lightening bolts in my mind, but it gave me no information or any new comfort that I was any closer to finding them. I stared at the printout of my pup scan that Ash had handed over the original printout to me. I could tell he was guilty that he had been there and I wasn't, but I didn't blame him. Kayda always had a bond to him, and I dare say even now she trusted him above me, this should be worrisome to me, but for some reason, it made sense, and even Jagger accepted their relationship. I trusted Ash above all and was glad that Kayda had him to lean on whilst I was off busy being King. We had made some terrible mistakes in not telling people we were mates, and it may have cost me my mate and pup, but I couldn't indulge in self pit
