"Well?" My father prompted his arms folded. I stayed silent, as did Sage and her vampire companion. In my experience, my father had already worked out what was happening or at least a version that he could fathom. "So, seeing as you two knew nothing about the rogue, am I correct in guessing your brother is behind this little jail break?" he continued as I had anticipated.

"No." I lied as a reflex from an early age Eoin, and I had the sibling protection thing down. We never told on each other even when caught red-handed.

"Really, Rori?" he asked. "You're a Luna, a mother, and a mated woman, and you're really going to lie to me like your sixteen again?"

I crossed my own arms now, seeing an opening in his argument.

"Exactly, you're right. I am a grown woman and a Luna, and yet here you are questioning me and treating me like I am still sixteen." I replied.
