39. The dragon in the hallway.

I pulled myself from the sea water and shook off the excess water as I waited for the others. Arthur was next shifting from his siren form back to his everyday form to wade out of the water. Ben, James, Chance, Ash, Sage, Marcus, and my sister Rori all appeared in two row boats tugged in by Sirens. Once everyone was on the beach, we did a quick recon of what was ahead. There was a fortress like a mediterrian style huge villa with high walls surrounding it and steep cliffs on three sides that fell into the deep ocean. It was clear there were gaurds stationed on the walls and at all points of entry. We were out numbered, so Arthur called some of the Siren warriors he had with us to go ahead and take out some of the gaurds. We moved quickly and swiftly, and before long, we were inside the large wooden door of the villa, leaving behind the mini brawl that was still going on behind us on the perfectly manicured lawn. Once we had a second to collect ourselves, I took a deep breath,
