Chapter 1

In  Bentwood,  a not so famous place located in the hilly side of France. Where werewolves are found according to folklores, Xoyo, a Korean-American lived with his grandfather who was known to have a blood of a werewolves. They transferred after Xoyo’s parents were murdered because of the werewolf rumored that brought fear to their neighbors way back then in Florida.  His grandfather thought of transferring the young woman to bentwood college where people are not new to ancient rumors and beliefs about mythical creatures and their existence. That way, they will be safe.

Their house is located in the middle of the pine forest, made of Stone and like a Rapunzel tower which only different because it has doors and its way wider and extravagantly beautiful.

In the huge living room, there’s no other furniture except for the big cabinet, cushions and center table, and the floor is made of a nude tiles. Xoyo, a black-haired, almond -eyed, and dove lips ,21 years old young lady sat in the big sofa while spending her time reading  an old comic book.

“ Xoyo, you’ll gonna be late, your supposed to be preparing for your first class tonight.” Her grandfather emerged from the door and handed her a little rectangular box.

“ What is this?” Xoyo asked 

“ You might need it in the future. We never know.” The old man said

“ its an old dagger given to me by our ancestors.” The old man added.

“ Grandpa, Thank you, but isn’t it against the rules, bringing stuff like this in the school?” She asked

The old man chuckled and fixed his eye glasses. He sat beside her.

“ In this place everything is legal, the braver and dominant you are , the powerful you become.” The old man said and Xoyo frown.

“ Grandpa, I don’t understand.”

“ If my pack hadn’t vanished , then we are supposed to be powerful, but sadly I’m the only one who survived and begged the moon goddess to lift the cursed.” He sighed.

“ I don’t understand” Xoyo sighed.

“ my werewolf self was been lifted and I become a normal person, though its very rare for the moon goddess to agreed,  I’m so thankful she chose to un follow the rules once. She lifted the cursed and let me lived normally.” He smiled and Xoyo couldn’t hide the surprised in her face because of what she heard.

“ Oh, you’ll going to be late dear.” 

“ Oh sorry.” Xoyo giggled and run to her room and changed her clothes, she took a pair of blue top and jacket in her wardrobe and paired it with a black jeans and shoes.

With her hair flowed freely in her back, she put on her little make up and run downstairs to said goodbye to her grandfather. 

“ It’s a little dark outside, be careful.” The old man said and Xoyo nodded and left. Walking down the bumpy forest path, Xoyo brought the dagger her grandfather had given to her and she followed the trails to the bentwood college for her night class.

She was about to reached the school when  somebody attacked her, she rolled down and hit her head on the stone that made her unconscious.

WHEN Xoyo woke up, she was in a room where everything is white, she frowned and looked around, and she winced when she felt a little pain in her arms and when she looked at it, she saw a big scratched , making her jacket sleeved stripped. 

“ Thank Goodness your awake.” A woman in a white uniform emerged from the door, with a syringed on her hand.

“ Who are you?” fear rises on Xoyo’s chest as the woman sauntered towards her. Xoyo grabbed the pillow and blocked it on her body.

“ Don’t be scared, I’m Fatima , the bentwood college Doctor.” The woman with a curly hair, tanned -color and with a freckled on her face winked.

“ W-What happened?” Xoyo asked.

“ You are attacked by one of the rogue Students here in Bentwood, you’re just lucky Devon from Cluster A found you. “ She explained.

“ Rogue student?”

“ This place is not just like the other place here in France, you can’t just walked back and fro freely especially at night, you also need a group in this place if you want to survived.” The doctor uttered.

“ I don’t understand.” Xoyo frowned.

“ If you think myths and legend doesn’t exists, then you rather think twice, predators lives here.” She said and she gave Xoyo an anti-rabies shot.

“ Can I leave now?” Xoyo asked.

“ Sure.” The doctor smiled

And Xoyo jumped out of bed and left the clinic, she walked down the hallway when she saw a handsome man ahead ,standing while leaning on the wall as if he was waiting for someone . he got a messy hot -looking hair, nice physique, milk skinned and wearing a leather jacket and jeans. She sighed and tried to ignored him and kept walking when the man suddenly blocked the way and faced her , Xoyo frowned.

“ Why are you blocking my way?” Xoyo raised a brow to a stranger.

“  You are the new student here right?” He asked, 

‘ gosh, even his voice is sexy.’ Xoyo’s thought said seductively and Xoyo shivered.

“ Y-yeah?” She stammered.

“  Good to know that you are still alive, that’s why next time, don’t be dumbed and be alert all the time.” He said and with that he walked away.

Xoyo’s blood boiled after hearing the word ‘dumped’, she breathe air angrily and run after him and smashed him from behind.

“ Don’t you dare call me dumped!” she snarled and the man controlled himself from hurting the transferee, instead, he faced her and punned her to the wall.

Xoyo gulped, and tried to avoid her face to his, they’re too closed to each other that she could feel his breathe.

“ Is that how you say thank you?” he murmured and she could smell the mint breath of the man in front of her that made her female organ stirred.

“ Y-Your D-Devon? Are you the one who-“

“ Devon! You’re here , I thought you are with the –“ the barbie looking girl stopped in mid-sentenced , when she saw the scene. She is Victoria, one of Devon’s members in Cluster A, curly blonde hair and a flawless porcelain skin, she’s a popular chic in bentwood college, looking naughty and bitchy but she’s the kindest.

Devon and Xoyo distanced themselves from each other and Xoyo run away , leaving the two people in the hallway, she started to looked for her room.
