Chapter 4

AFTER P.E , everyone was given a break and the students split up. The others went to the gym, while others went in the cafeteria.

“ Gosh, I never thought I could reached the minimum.” Xoyo chuckled.

“ Your pretty good, you know.” Victoria cheered for her.

“ Thanks , but Devon is undefeatable.” Xoyo sighed.

“ He is always undefeatable.” Luna smiled.

“ Here’s the food everyone.” Devon came back with the food in a food cart. He took the trays one by one and put it in there tables.

Jacob assisted him.

“  Thank you.” They uttered.

“ Hmm, Can I asked something?” Xoyo asked.

“ Yeah sure.” Luna didn’t mind.

“ Here in Bentwood? How does rules applied?” Xoyo asked and the three people in front of them looked at each other.

“ Simple. The stronger you are, the better, you can do whatever you are, you are king.” Jacob answered.

“ Being strong, helped me to kept the werewolves and Humans who lives here safe.  No one can lay a finger to any of them when I’m around.” Devon said seriously.

“ Cool!” Xoyo uttered and smiled widely.

“ However, being strong is not good sometimes, Devon is always targeted by the rogue werewolves and planned to take over his positions.” Jacob spoke.

“ Rogue werewolves?”

“ Yeah, Those who doesn’t want to be united with us. They made a school for themselves and sworn to dominate the Whole Bentwood if they’ll get the chance.” Luna answered.

“ That’s scary.” Xoyo shivered.

“ Anyways, I still need to attend my Piano lesson, see you later “ Luna excused herself and left.

“ Oh my what time is it? I still had to practice with the rest of the cheerleader team. Bye.” Victoria run outside the cafeteria and Jacob followed leaving Devon and Xoyo.

“ T-They left.” She stammered.

Devon stared at her.

“ Are you scared?” Devon asked.

“ What? Why would I be scared?” Xoyo answered and looked away, when she could felt that Devon’s gaze buried deep in her flesh.

“ Your trembling.” He chuckled humorless.

“ Well, I’m not used to-“

“ Come with me, I’ll show you something.” He smiled.

And Xoyo thought for awhile, but before she could even opened her mouth again, she was already dragged outside the cafeteria and into the woods.

“ Ouch!” She winced silently until they arrived in the middle of the virgin forest where a big tree house is built in a huge gigantic tree..

“ Wow.” She uttered.

“ What do you think?” he asked.

“ This is beautiful.” She said and she stared at it like she was being hypnotized. “ Let’s go up.” Devon smiled and he assisted her up in the tree house.

“ This place is so gorgeous! I would rather live in a place like this than stayed in the city where the air is being polluted.” She chirped happily and looked at every edged of the place. However, Xoyo was surprised when she was pulled by him by grabbing her waist closer to him.

“ W-What are you doing?” she felt a little awkward with their face closer to each other. She saw his Adams apple moved.

“ D-Devon.” She stammered.

“ I’m Not a werewolf meal.” She felt like crying. 

But to her surprised she was pinned on the wall and his lips landed on hers.

“ I don’t know why, but I felt like I have the feeling of wanting you so badly.” He spoke in her ears and that brought tingling sensation in her body.

“ W-What?”

“ Be my Mate.” He answered and Xoyo’s eyes widened in shocked.

“ You must be kidding me.” She laughed nervously. 

“ How can a human being be a werewolf’s mate?” She asked.

“ If you’re not my mate, then why’d I had this sexual desire for you the moment we met.  Werewolves know the instant they set there eyes on their mate. Because if it wasn’t? Should I bother protecting you? Your nor my group, and I didn’t know you at all, I could have left you behind, but I didn’t” he explained.

“ D-Devon?”

“ Your mine , do you understand.” And as if he was releasing a purring mechanism from his voice that has the power to encourage, Xoyo nodded involuntarily.

“ You’ll be mine now.” He said in a firm voice, and with a firm decision, Devon marked Xoyo, and Xoyo bit her lips when she felt the pain right in her neck.

“ Does it hurt?” He asked.

“ A little.” She said and she felt like she’s going to faint.

“ Xoyo?” 

Devon and Xoyo stayed in the tree house for hours, and when Xoyo woke up, everything that happened earlier recalled and she felt like she’s turning red all over.

“ Finally your awake.” He smiled.

“ Yeah, C-can we kept it a secret for awhile?” Xoyo asked.

“  a secret?” Devon asked.

“ That I’m your mate. I mean –“ Xoyo felt awkward.

“ They’ll know about it.” He sighed and smiled at her.

“ Oh.”

“ Yeah, and in order to seal the mark, we will engaged into you know.”

“ Huh?” Xoyo blushed and turned around and she could felt Devon’s hands snaked in her tummy and let her face him.

“ D-Do we really have to-“

“ Shh.”

“ I am afraid.” She stammered, she felt cold all over.

But Xoyo was surprised when her body suddenly felt something, she’s suddenly felt like crazy, she suddenly become drawn to her and at the same time she felt dizzy.

“ D-Devon?” she uttered and out her arms around his neck and tiptoed to kissed him right in the lips.

And everything goes on until they become intimately mating and sealing the marked.

The moment Devon entered her, Xoyo felt herself being stripped and she screamed loudly making the birds outside flew away.

And moment goes on, she found herself enjoying his company.
