CHAPTER ONE-HUNDRED AND EIGHTEEN

Noah's Pov

The roof seemed to cave in on my head as I stood there. As the wind from outside the window still pushed and pulled at the blinds; and I froze motionless like a child lost in a haunted house.

A million thoughts took to their heels as I glanced around the room frantically. And I moved from the fireplace immediately, and deeper inside the cabin. I kicked down doors and tore down cabinets. I didn't know why I broke the kitchen sink too, but I was in a panic.

Where was she? Where did she go to? How did she leave? What happened to her?

My head was steaming, as I now started looking for blood trails. I frowned at the curtains and searched for claw marks, hunting for any sign of struggle. I could feel my heart beat ten times faster as I walked around the small cabin. But as I kept finding nothing, it now felt like an entire castle. And as my legs were heavy, even though I was stampeding, it felt like I wasn't moving fast enough. Because there was no time to waste. Myra was gone.
