Chapter 1

“Da’Vina please come down your father and I need to talk to you about something hunny.”

I came barreling down the stairs almost fell in the process of doing it too. When I came around the corner my mother just started laughing at me.

“I swear child you are so damn clumsy and I don’t understand it you are a wolf after all.”

I could feel the blush creep upon my cheeks, “I am sorry mother I just trip over my own feet sometimes.”

She just shook her head, “Come on your father is in his office!”

I followed my mother to father’s office, when we entered in the office my father looked up smiling from ear to ear. I ran towards my father and he jumped over the desk knocking me to the floor before he started tickling me again.

I was laughing so hard, that all I could spit out was “Please stop.” Finally after what seemed like forever he helped me up off the floor I started dusting myself off before I looked back up at him.

“Mother said you need to talk to me is something wrong?”

He looked at my mother and I seen her nod her head, my father let out a long breath.

“Nina you remember your mother and I telling you that you were special since you got your wolf early. But not only that because of your wolfs coloring.”

I nodded my head, “Well we thought we were being careful about letting you shift but apparently someone from Alpha Victor’s pack seen you running around in wolf form. Now they don’t exactly know who the wolf was and nobody in our pack would tell them but we need you to start wearing your contacts again immediately and do not let Rudina come out until we say it’s safe.”

I looked down at the floor and I felt my mother’s hand on my shoulder, “Mother what color should I wear?”

She just smiled, “Well since you came out looking exactly like me how about we give your dad some credit in there and put the ice blue contacts in ok.”

We looked at my dad and his eyes lite up when mother said that.

But then they dulled again, “You will also have to dye your hair to my hair color, as of now we never told the kingdom that you were our daughter. As far as they know the wolf king and queen have no child as of now. We are going to send you away that way you are safe, we are sending you to your aunt’s pack she is the only one that knows of your true identity so please keep it that way.”

I jumped back and started freaking out, “ I don’t want to leave you guys it’s not fair.”

My mother bent down in front of me, “Nina I know it’s not fair but you have to understand that you are very special you are the first wolf to ever be born with black fur with pink streaks through it and those markings on you represent that you have been marked by the goddess sisters. That means you are more important then anyone else and must stay safe at all costs.”

“But you are the king and queen of the kingdom surely you can protect me.”

My father bent down in front of me so that we were eye level, “My precious daughter we would give our life’s to save you but right now Victor will come for us and he will bring an army to do it and right now our main goal is to protect you. So is the kingdoms this pack will give there last breath to protect you.”

I went to speak but my father placed his finger on my lips, “Go with your mother so she can get your hair dyed and put the contacts in for you and then she is going to give you some to hide on you. Da’Vina if something happens and Victor comes here before we get you out you have to pretend that you are not our daughter just another pack member. He can’t know that you are our daughter I swear to you that he can’t know. There is more about our history and family that you must know but right now I can’t tell you about it just know that your wolf is very special just like you are.”

My mother pulled me away leading me to her bathroom where she had everything already sat up. I sat down on the chair that she had set up for me, sitting in silence while she put the hair dye in and then the contacts. Once the timer went off she rinsed my hair out and blew dry it. I could hear the sniffling coming from my mother so I turned towards her embracing her into a hug.

She released me, “Come now we must go to the dining room your father has prepared dinner for us.”

My mother and I walked down the stairs in complete silence, when we arrived at the dining room table father was already waiting. We all sat down eating our meal in silence when one of the guards ran into the dining room.

“My king Victor has arrived with an army and is requesting that we had over the pink wolf.”

“Get the troops ready now!”

My father turned towards my mother, “Take her to Heidi she knows what to do.”

My father grabbed me and pulled me into a hug, “You are Heidi’s daughter know matter what happens or what you see do not break character do not let them know who you are do you understand me Da’Vina.”

I just nodded, I could feel the tears well up in my eyes as my mother dragged me out of the house through the secret passages. She kept dragging me all the way to Heidi’s house, Heidi opened the door with a look of shock on her face.

“My queen is everything ok?”

I could hear the sadness in my mother’s voice, “No Heidi it is time you need to protect her make sure she survives this no matter what.”

Heidi kneeled down before my mother, “I will protect her with my life my queen now go the king needs you.”

My mother turned around pulling me into a hug and kissing the top of my forehead. I could feel the tears dropping onto my head, I didn’t want to let go of my mother but Heidi pulled me off of her and my mother shifted into her white wolf with pink streaks through it before taking off running.

I was a big crying mess at this point, Heidi pulled me to her chest, “I know this is a lot to take in Nina put we must stay here Victor is power crazy and will not stop until he gains your power.”

We sat down on the couch and I was curled up on her lap when the door was kicked in.

“You come out now Alpha Victor wants everyone at the pack grounds now.”

I went to fight him but Heidi grabbed onto my arm tightly I turned to look at her and she shook her head no before linking me.

“You are an omega now you can’t show your power or they will know stop right now.”

I nodded my head, before slowly getting up with Heidi and following her out the door. When we got out of the door the man grabbed both of our arms dragging us to the middle of the pack grounds now. When we got there I could see that my father was severely wounded and Alpha Victor had him by the throat. I went to snatch my arm from the mans but I heard my father in my head through our link.

“I am so sorry Nina you have to stand there do not move your mother and I will give you and Heidi a chance to run you will know when to do it.”

I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes and shaking my head no. The man threw us forward and we both landed on the ground. We slowly stood up facing Alpha Victor like the rest of the pack. The warriors laid on the ground dead around us the rest of the pack that was left was all the lower rank members.

Alpha Victor turned towards us, “Today you will see your King fall unless you hand over the black wolf with pink streaks.”

The rest of the pack members look confused I guess that is because only a few knew of my wolf’s true color my parents hid the fact that they had me from most of the pack just because of what I was they only knew that I was there teenage cousin. My parents didn’t want tell anyone outside of the warriors and Heidi who I actually was.

Victor started squeezing my father’s neck and I could see the blood starting to run down my father’s neck. I looked around trying to find my mother but I couldn’t see her.

“I will not say it again bring me the wolf or your king dies and the queen will become my queen once I kill him.”

Again nobody moved, Victor took his claws digging into my father’s throat ripping his throat from his body. I wanted to scream I almost did when Heidi held me to her body, I heard a howl of pain I turned to see my mother’s wolf stalking towards Alpha Victor. Victor turned towards my mother smiling from ear to ear, “Oh look it’s the Queen, I killed your mate now your mine.”

My mother lunged at him but Alpha Victor caught her in his hands, “Shift now!”

My mother started shifting back into her human form, there is absolutely no way that he should be stronger then them. He has to be getting help from a witch and a powerful one at that.

My mother carefully turned her eyes to me, “I am so sorry my child but I can’t not let him take me. He will abuse me I can’t let that happen.” I didn’t understand what she was trying to say, I looked at Alpha Victor and he started rubbing his hand down my mother’s body.

“You will watch me take your queen.” My mother started struggling against him and she did it enough to where he let go of her. I don’t know what she did but I could see the blood dripping from his hand.

“You Bitch you will pay for that!”

My mother dropped to the ground rolling towards one of the warriors, I could see her grabbing a knife from the warrior. Before Victor or anyone could stop her she shoved the knife into her chest. Victor just shaked his head, “Well I didn’t expect that!”

Then he turned directly towards me, “You come here I know your related to them.”

I shook my head no, he cocked his eyebrow at me. Heidi stepped forward bowing her head, “Alpha sir I apologize but this is my niece I took her in after my brother died in the last war, they sent their cousin back home while ago again I apologize.”

She stayed in bowing position when I watched Alpha Victor face contort to one of rage.

“Doesn’t matter she is mine now, she is simply to beautiful to kill she will make a great breeding machine.”

Heidi again spoke, “Sir please I beg of you we can clean your home and make your meals but please don’t do that to her she is only sixteen now. Her wolf hasn’t even surfaced yet, the queen said she was a late bloomer and it wouldn’t show up till her eighteenth birthday.”

The Alpha started walking towards us, once again before snatching my arm and he started sniffing me. My wolf had already went into hiding after seeing our father and mother both die so he wouldn’t be able to smell her on me right now.

“No matter she will serve me as an omega until then.”

He turned to the rest of his warriors, “Kill the rest and take all the children the men we can turn into warrior and the woman well you know what we will do.”

The next thing I knew I watched as he murdered the remain pack members as he changed the rest of us up. There were little child crying as they loaded us into a box truck, I tried my best to comfort them but I couldn’t because of these damn chains. The next thing I knew we were all injected with something and soon as that injection was in us my vision started to go black.
