I Love You

The next day, I was feeling so much better. Alexander made sure I rested properly yesterday without stressing myself. I practically slept the whole day, trying to regain my lost strength and weary muscles.

Alexander wanted me stay in today and rest, but I refused with the excuse that I want to go and see Ava. But truthfully, I want to go and see her, it's been a while since I last saw her.

After much persuasion, pleading, sulking face and a pouty lips, Alexander agreed but then I'd have to go with a lot of bodyguards which is not even a problem. They can crowd my space if they want, so far as I get to meet Ava. I've missed her so much.

The drive to Ava's bakery was becoming unbearably long and boring, even when I tried to engage Jackson in a conversation, but I'd end up getting ignored or a curt nod as a reply. So much for being a sophisticated chief guard. He should loosen up a little.
