Dinner

I sat silently in the plush, leather-bound rear seat of the sleek, black Cadillac SUV, parked discreetly at the curb in front of Mr. Sebastian's grand, gated estate. The soft hum of the engine and the gentle purr of the air conditioning created a soothing background noise, but my mind was elsewhere, focused on the wait.

For the past twenty minutes, I had been patiently sitting in the car, surrounded by the luxurious amenities of the SUV, including the soft glow of the dashboard lights and the sweet scent of the premium leather upholstery.
